Your best ever most wonderful sale bargain!?
What is the best ever sales bargain you have managed to buy, not only in terms of price cut but in terms of actual wear and usefulness.
Mine are a pair of peeptoe heels from faith.They are green and quite high with a sortof ruched front ( much nicer than ive made them sound)!
I bought them on impulse at £15 from about £50 and they seem to go with everything and they are the comfiest shoes known to woman!!:yay:

I don't really buy things in the sale - I hate all the pushing and shoving! I did see a top that I wanted from Coast once, but it was about £60. A friend picked it up for me in the sale, and it was reduced down to £9 which is a great bargain, but I never wore it and ended up selling it on ebay :o Just glad I didn't spend £60 on it in the first place!

I'm not really a sale person either. Probably a grey suede vest top from an Armani sample sale. Reduced from £600 to about £35! I haven't worn it in a while, but I'm thinking of getting a sheer victorian blouse to wear under it.

This year it was definitely a pink knee length skirt bought from Topshop for 12quid in the summer sale.
Not really for the price but more the fact I wore it all summer and it was really versatile, I could dress it up or down quite easily.

in january I bought a lovely chocolate brown velvet blazer from ms, it was reduced from £89 to £19 and its great, it goes with everything and I wear all the time :)

For the past couple of years I have gone to Leeds for the sales (esp Harvey Nichols) and this year I am thinking of saving any spare cash and putting it towards a hotel/b and b and staying over etc. What would baggers reccomend, London or Leeds?
Also has anyone done anything similar and what hoteld do you recommend?

I'd go for Leeds. I have flats in both cities and think Leeds is far preferable for sales shopping.

Leeds definitely - loads of great shops and the sales people are more friendly - plus you're less likely to get sworn at by other people after a bargain! (and of course you don't have to negotiate the tube to the shopping hotspots with thousands of other people)

I'm finally probably going to buy a pair of boots from Duo, and wondered if anyone else had bought from there this year?
I remember last year that some people had a few problems with heels falling off and such and thought I'd check if anyone had problems with recent buys?
I'm still thinking about whether to get a size 5 or 6, as I'm really a size 5.5, so any heads on if they run big or small would be appreciated too:)

definitely don't size down, they run a bit snug. i'm a 5.5-6 and i had to get a 7, although i always size up in boots anyway. i didn't have any trouble with mine last year...

Oddly, they came up big on me. I'm normally a 6 but had to get a 5 in these. (i know nearly everyone else finds they run small though) No problems with quality so far and they have had a pretty thorough work out!

Postage is usually very quich with topshop, if you order on a week day before 12pm i find it comes the next day or the day after. I ordered today a usually orders on a sunday come wednesday for me :)
