In previous years I usually get to TS around 9am-ish on Boxing Day and go down the escalator and then do a u-turn and go straight back up. I just can't face the rails and rails of clothes!!!
This year however, I'm determined to brace TS and get a few bargains.
Can any of you give examples of the kind of discounts to expect on the first day?
Do they put the clothes on the rails in the same order everywhere? i.e tops and front, then skirts, then coats or does it change yearly.
What about the jewellery and bags upstairs? Any tips there?
I know there must be goodies in amongst those rails but I get tired just looking at them when I'm on the way down on the escalator!!

It's chaos and I hate it, although I admire your dedication to the cause!
I suppose one approach would be to go and have a good look at everything before the sale starts so you at least know what you're looking for. However, I do have a feeling TS is one of those shops that are guilty of dragging out last season's dregs for the sales :nono:
I don't think I'm going to be doing the sales this year as I've spent far, far too much money on Christmas partying and presents (a couple of which were, admittedly presents to myself).
There are a few shops that do decent sales (GAP, LK Bennett, Faith) but in quite a few the discounts are really rubbish and don't justify being called a sale.
I may not be able to resist the temptation of searching for some online bargains though!

Just bumping my own thread - I bought a pair last night from the Ugg Store, but ended up going for the short chestnut ones so hopefully there shouldn't be any calf issues :lol:
