Got the dress...now need the shoes, too late for ebay as do is on saturday...
hot pink/deep pink or any pink..any ideas?..high and glitzy but not tooo expensive as the rest of the outfit and evening costs a bomb already!

I got a lovely pair of hot pink shoes from Clarks (of all places!) for £25 (down from £35). They're hot pink with a diamonte detail at the front, and they're peep-toe.

Long one this:
I bought a lush MJ top from Selfridges last week, layered black and pink chiffon and silk....v. dreamy, except I really need it in the next size down which is a UK 6.
Selfridges Manc didn't know their ass from their elbow and couldn't tell me if they even stocked the next size and down and of course, had no idea if they would get more stock in....its new season for gawd sake.
So eventually they phoned the London store and in a flash was told no, they didn't have it in that size. In fact I was told they didn't even stock that top.
Went back in yesterday and tried again to be told they stocked it but not in my size - they didn't even bloomin check :mad:
To the point, I really want this top and was wondering if there is an MJ store in London and if they would mail it to me.
Any ideas?
By the way I've check netaporter with no joy.

No, pretty certain there isn't. There is a kind of Marc Jacobs (not marc) boutique within Harvey Nichols.
Annanas and loony have, I believe, ordered from their New York store in the past and they have ben quite cooperative.

Typing this quickly so apols I haven't included contact details. Try Harrods/Harvey Nichols first though - they tend to get new Marc stock in quicker than most, I reckon (as do Liberty). Good luck!

I've tried Harvey Nics but was told they no longer stock MJ, for some reason they lost the right to stock it and it went to Selfridges :confused: Well thats what the Manc store said anyway.
CurlsAloud, thats defo the top but darn it, its not stocked in a US 2 which is a UK 6 but cheers for the link. Surely the top would be made in a size 6 wouldn't it??

They have quite a 50's vibe so you could maybe team them with a 50's style skirt and warm cosy knits for a dressed down but super stylish daytime outfit.

Thought I would share with anyone who is interested!!! £12.99 from TK Maxx - Glitter Shoes!! My friend told me about them and in all honesty I thought for £12.99 they would be minging but they are fab and the real deal. They had them in silver or black, real pointy toe with a two inch heel. They are not full court shoes but slip on (i.e. no back) and the sparkle is amazing. They are covered in real diamante pieces and just fab for the forthcoming Xmas parties!!
I fell in love with the Jondanesque ones on vivaladiva.com but couldnt justify the £80 at this time of year and I have to say these have matched them 100%!!
