    NO.2. ask :
    Brown or black boots?
Hmm, decisions decisions (again...!!) Hubby is buying me a new pair of boots for Christmas - here's my dilemma: I have a pair of knee high black stiletto heel boots, but due to the onset of a dodgy vein during pregnancy (nearly 3 years ago now!), I can't do the left boot up without it hurting. Am v. annoyed as these boots cost me £90 and I can't wear them anymore!
Anyway, I already have knee high tan stack heel boots and in my wardrobe I've got pretty much equal amounts of brown, black and denim. Really can't decide which boots to get - it's either:
    these in black
    http://www.faith.co.uk/catalogue/sty...style=89 8977
    or these:
    http://order.next.co.uk/page.asp?b=X36p=228o=1
ETA: It's the boots in the top left hand corner - £74.99
And no, I can't have both!! I know that both pairs fit and are comfortable, as I've got them both and now just need to decide which pair to keep! I really need black ones to replace the ones that I've already got, but I could really do with a brown pair too!
Any opinions are sure to help! Thanking you! :)
    Answer:

    Answer:

Just seen this, not sure if it applies to any of you...
"Sorry I'll read that again -15 Dec 2005 The scale of the problem is greater than we stated two days ago (see below)with any parcel mailed by NZ Post Airpost service before 5 December potentially affected. We believe that all goods involved will be delivered before Christmas. Unfortunately communicating with everybody in a timely manner is placing a considerable strain on our administrative resourses. Some people have been abusive but most have accepted the situation with good grace -thanks.
Missing Parcels Begin to Arrive -13 Dec 2005 A period of intense frustration for ourselves and many hundreds of our UK and European customers appears finally to be ending. All parcels posted on the 20th and 21st November seemingly disappeared. They could be tracked on the NZ Post website as having left New Zealand but on Parcelforce nothing. Most goods sent on subsequent days arrived within the expected 6 to 10 day period. What happened? NZ Post will neither confirm nor deny it but we believe our airpost parcels were sent on something large and slow -like a ship."
    Answer:
    Thank for that, Cat!
    Answer:
aye, that'll be mine then - hope they do come before xmas! that's when i want them for so that'd be fine!

This mighta been done but what shall I ask for for Crimbo - Inspiration please!
Boyfriend hasn't got me a bean and is asking for inspiration. I want everything but can't think of anything if you know what I mean!
So far this morning I have written on my list:
Ipod earphones with the volume on the wire
    SATC Series 5 and 6
I'm thinking about asking for that capey type coat out of MS Limited Collection - the tweedy one but is it worth getting one of these now?
    x
    Answer:
If you like the cape then it's certainly worth getting!
Things i've asked for/ think i might have got are....
Office round toed heels with bow on the front
    Cute knickers
    Origins skincare set
    Philosophy bath stuff
    Make up - MAC, etc
    GHD's
    Hair stuff by TIGI
I reckon my friend has got my some kind of clothing or accessories but unless your boyfriend knows your taste really well this may be best avoided, my OH won't even contemplate getting me clothes for this reason!
How about a cashmere jumper or some expensive smellie candles that you can light to relax with?
    Answer:
Fanks Cat, nice list you got going on there! I'd probably say he wouldn't buy clothes for me but he did get me a Prada bag a couple of years ago with no prompting from me. Went in there and chose it all himself!:girllove:
It's not one that I would have chosen myself but it's a classic I'll use forever.
Just remembered an underwear set I saw last night that I've added as it's lush!
    Answer:
It all depends on what you like/already have. If you like the cape then def go for it, don't worry about if it's too late, i'm sure you'll get wear out of it if you like it.
    A few things I want/know that my man is getting me are;

*Smoothie/cocktail maker :D I luurve cocktails(obviously!) and I want to start drinking a smoothie every morning
*All the bits to go with the above - new coktail glasses/book/etc etc

  • How busy are the shops at the mo?

    NO.5. ask :
How busy are the shops at the mo?
Want to go into town shopping tomorrow and just wondering how busy it all is - I HATE HATE HATE going shopping and having to wait for hours to park the damn car.
I'm happy to get there at 7am if necessary if it means i can park the car and go for a coffee somewhere till the shops open.
What do you reckon? Get there dead early or is it quiet out there?
    Answer:
Hi! I would go really early! Me and my friends are planning on going on saturday and I said that we need to get there early what with it being the last weekend before christmas, but they seem to think it will be fine to get there at 10  bearing in mind southampton is a nightmare to park on a normal saturday let alone christmas! Definately go early, crowd and people get really shirty and its easier if you can just get everything done before you have to SAS army crawl through the shops ;)
    Answer:
    depends where you are
It has been so busy at lunch time in Newcastle....... a market is on in the centre of town as well.... it's been busy all week... today it's quiet.
So I reckon either an early start, or a 2.00pm start.... when people have gone back to work or are at lunches etc, before teh schools break up!!!!
    Answer:
In London, it doesn't seem as busy as other Christmases. Don't know if maybe some tourists have been put off coming because of the bombs or if more people are doing their shopping online.
    Answer:
i think most the shops are quite busy but compared to how they normaly are at x-mas there not busey at all which is good
like alot of pple av been saying go early in the morning or after the lunchtime rush :)
