Black fake fur jacket
Can anyone help me locate a reasonably cheap one? It needs to be hip length or less but not cropped and have full length sleeves. Other than that, I'm flexible! I've tried Miss Selfridge, New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Primark without any luck.
Thanks!

Answer:
They had a lovely dark brown one which fits your description in every respect other than the colour in Zara.
They may possibly also have black?
It was hip length, I would say, with a nice raised collar. No idea about the price I'm afraid so not all that helpful.
Answer:
Oh well, dark brown might make an acceptable substitute!
I generally love Zara coats and they fit me well so I'll definitely take a peek - cheers, OJO!

I was going to say New Look; are they in the sale already?
If Santa could bring you one thing this Christmas, what would it be?
NO.2. ask :
If Santa could bring you one thing this Christmas, what would it be?
For me, it would have to be two pairs of knee high boots - one with a rounded toe and stacked heel in dark brown gorgeous leather, and the other flat round toe riding boot style boots, again in gorgeous leather, both which fit my mis-shapen calfs!
Or...
A Milk Paddington
I'm well aware that's more than one thing, but once I thought about it, I couldn't help get more ideas :o
What about you?
Answer:
I want 2 things.
I pair of Black round toe boots with a wooden heel. I don’t care what make.
And Topshop are doing a copy of the Roland Moreut Dress for £35. I have asked for that as well.
(So Santa – I have been a really good girl and I think I should have both, please, thank you your highness)

The ability to play guitar really well without actually having to learn (Or is that just my sore fingers talking?!)
Otherwise - lace up victorian boots and snuggly jumpers.
Answer:
A cashmere MaxMara coat, those lovely blue stack heeled Costume National leather boots I saw in Selfridges (although I'll make do with the Chloe ones:D), a chocolate brown leather bag (say, Bottega Veneta) and a voucher for a perfume of my choice from Jo Malone.

Brooches
NO.4. ask :
Brooches
What do you all reckon to brooches? I like them, but I'm wondering if they're a bit... Grannyish No-one I know my age wears them, but I quite like them.
Do you think they will be passé for anyone in their twenties after this season?
I'm thinking of buying this one from Candy says:
Answer:
I love them and have worn them for years, and I'm still under thirty! As with everything, it's how you wear them that matters... I'm wearing one today on my jacket, but I quite often wear vintage-style ornate ones on a jumper or cardigan for work.
Not quite 100% about the rose brooch, sorry - I'd need to see it IRL to be sure.

Answer:
I'm with GK, I like them too and it's all about how you wear them. They're not grannyish. I was actually going to buy one myself this week to update a top I have :)
Answer:
I'm 22 and I wear brooches, although I always seem to lose them :(
This is a bit of a holy grail thing for me - I still haven't found the brooch!
Answer:
Just wanted to add, charity shops are great for brooches, you can get some lovely unique styles.
RANT RANT RANT - sorry
NO.5. ask :
RANT RANT RANT - sorry
I'm a bit of a lurker on here, reading posts rather than posting myself. But i have had to post about this as i am SO annoyed
2 weeks ago i bought a white victorian blouse from Mackays, i didnt have time to try it on, i literally ran into the shop, picked my size up from the rail and paid for it. That night i was going to wear it for a friends birthday party and when i put it on my husband said "thats lovely but theres a huge tear in the back of it"
so i put the blouse and the tags and the receipt in the bag and thought well i'll just take it back, even though i was a bit disapointed.
A friends husband who works near the store said i'll take it back for you, i either wanted an exchange or my money back ( i paid cash)
He went in this morning and was told it has been worn so tough luck and they would not entertain him in any way.
Once i found this out i rang and spke to the manager, who im still waiting for to ring me back, and she was very unhelpful and stated she would have to speak to her area manager, but didnt think she could do anything about it.
She said its very common for people to wear things and then bring them back.
I AM LIVID - i am an honest person and would never do this and i feel dreadful my friends husband was spoken to so badly.
Sorry but i had to let off some steam
Answer:
at the end of the day its faulty. even if you have worn it if the item has an inherent fault that makes it unable to perform its required purpose then they are legally obliged to give you a refund
Answer:
update
the rude manager has just rang back to say that they will now exchange it, which is all i wanted in the first place, but she still beleives i have worn it!!!!!
Answer:
Guide to the Sale of Goods Act
Print out, affix to a large (heavy) book and then throw it at them.
You're legally in the right and, if you still have tags on the item, they have no grounds to claim you damaged the item.
Answer:
I seem to recall there is also something about not being able to claim a refund for obvious faults - ie if you are claiming it had a bloomin great tear in it before you bought it, you were aware it was there but you still chose to buy it anyway so therefore you aren't allowed your money back. Hence why they draw your attention to small faults and they aren't refundable. I kknow you didn't see the tear but chances are they'd claim you must have done (if you see what I mean)
