christmas eve outfit - need some advice

NO.1. Ask :
christmas eve outfit - need some advice
I feel as if I have entirely lost the power to make a decision, and as my housemates are all back home now I thought i would turn to baggers.
I was thinking of wearing these satin short shorts out on christmas eve, potentially with boots but maybe with heels, but wanted to know whether you guys thought my legs looked too chunky, and also what would go well with them. Honest opinions please, although i do look a bit foreshortened due to the camera angle.
I have grey tights on here, quite like it but not sure if black would be better.
With boots:
with heels:
and whilst i am gratuitously posting pics of myself on here... I was going to wear this dress to my mums on christmas day, which i thought had the right combo of comfiness and mum-friendliness, but should it be worn with or sans red belt?
(looking a bit posey!)
Answer:
I like the first outfit best with the boots.
Second I think you should def go with the red belt! :)
Answer:
I'm not convinced by the shorts, what top are you planning to wear with them? Grey tights look better with the boots and black would probably look better with the shoes. I'm swinging towards the boots at the moment, but would like to see the whole outfit.
However I also wanted to say - you look stunning in that dress definitely wear with the red belt!
Answer:
hmmm - not sure about the shorts - maybe it's the top you are wearing with them. dont think they look right with those boots though - it'll defo have to be high high shoes.
but the red dress with the belt looks amazing:yay:
Answer:
massive thumbs up for the red dress and belt.
sorry but i think that the boots and shorts look a bit panto -ish , i do think that they would look great with high heels ..maybe platforms?

Does anybody know what it is? I bought a victorian blouse from them but the lace is falling apart, the manager in watford rudely told me that it was my fault and not the manufacturers.
Any ideas on how I can get a refund or an exchange?

right I am an avid *maybe slightly obsessed* fashion bagger. I love my clothes and have about a zillion pairs of shoes and one pair of boots for every day of the month.
but I just dont get the attraction with heres.
I have 2 - a sensible leather battered over the shoulder satchel, and a smaller plain black leather shoulder bag that I've had for years.
I do try to look at heres in the shops - but always put them back on the shelf and buy yet another pair of shoes instead.
please help me find an inner desire for bags, as at the moment I have no interest at all.
    Answer:
    Juggler, I'm with you.
I simply hate bags with any fancy detailing on. I hate buckles, tassles, too many pockets, too much hardware (I think it's called hardware?). I like a nice simple bag with no frills.
Evening bags however are another matter, I could buy cute little clutch bags till the cows come home, but for day to day bags, I just don't get it either!
    Answer:
I like simple heres too.. i especially hate bags for daytime that you cant sling on your shoulder and have to hold in your hand in prissy fashion.
I also dont have a thing for designer heres in the way that I love shoes. I balk at the thought of paying more than £50 for a bag.
That said ive got about 20 heres!;)
    Answer:
I love bags but I don't own tonnes. I got rid of a few cheap bags I had and never used and decided that I'd rather have few expensive ones that I love.
So now I have a dark brown Celine Boogie (very simple and classic),a blue Marc Jacobs Scarlet hobo which I adore, a battered silver and snakeskin Miu Miu (a smaller bag I mostly use for going out)and a black suede covered in brass circles Chloe bag that was a bit of an impulse buy and which I'm considering selling as well. Plus a couple of cheap beaded clutches from Accessorize which are for the sort of nights out that I wouldn't take an expensive bag to :D

popoki - where do you find nice evening bags?? I've been searching for years, but for the life of me cannot find one I like, so I'm stuck with a crudey little on from hennes which I brought years ago.
Day bags, I like simple ones, but usually in bright colours, although practicality is always a big one for me  as I only ever go for big slouchy ones which I can chuck everything into. However, whilst I lust after expensive shoes, I have no real inclination towards bags

    NO.5. ask :
    are you?
a bag person or a shoe person?
    Answer:
    both.
    Answer:
Definitely a shoe person. I only have about 5 bags, but usually alternate between two of those.
My shoes however deserve a room of their own. I think they're breeding :D
    xx
