Right then I've got some stuff from the above from.....
asda...all the stuff has the original tags- without recipt
markspencers...all but 1 has the tags-with receipt
next-no tags-with recipt
primark-all have tags-no receipt- ive got those skinny black jeans 10 and victorian black long top ( swaps anyone??)
They are all in the original condition -
Does anyone know if I can return them and get my money - I dont really want to exchange ???????

Not sure about peacocks, but I would guess that most 'high street' shops should be ok, as long as it has tags/or reciept and it's obviously not been used

Hi all, hope you had nice a nice christmas day! :wave:
I'm looking for some jeans, maybe designer- but if I can find some that aren't then great!
I'd like them to be:
-Bootcut
-Low fitted on the hips (more flattering for me)
- Slim fitting (I have skinny legs!)
- Long length- perhaps 36" so I can wear heels with them
I can never find jeans long enough that aren't too baggy for me!
Maybe they could have pockets on the bum (this is more flattering isn't it?)
Any ideas or am i looking for a needle in a haystack?!
Has anybody got similar figure/problem with jeans? If so, which do you find the best fitting?!

Have you tried topshop Dukes? I just got a pair that I have been lusting after today and they are slim fitting but bootcut, very low (but slightly higher at the back so you don't flash your bum when you sit down) and come in a range of lengths.

They ring a bell- are they new? I did go to topshop a few months ago and tried every pair of jeans on- took me ages!!
I'm a bit wary of topshop jeans now because my 'rizz' ones are totally baggy for me!!

Well I tried them on in the summers at the Oxford Street store and did not purchase them then, thinking I would get them at my local Cambridge store. However they were nowhere to be found until about November/December time.
I agree with you about the baggyness but these ones do say wash inside out and don't tumbledry so I suppose that might help.

TK Maxx might be a good place to start as they have such a big selction of brands and bargain prices.
A lot of brands probably don't go up to a 36 inch leg but I definitely saw ones in there that did.

I’m looking for a dress that was featured on the Christmas edition What Not To Wear (BBC1 – 23/12/05 @ 8.30pm).
It’s a black, long sleeve, deep v-neck dress with gold trimming on the cuffs neckline. It was shown on a mannequin to a wife of a businessman who was being made over, (she had concerns it would be too low and chose a floral patterned dress instead), but the black dress would be perfect for a party I have coming up.
Does anyone remember the one I mean?
If you know it and know which store/designer it’s from I would be grateful if you could let me know.
asos is currently closed and not open till mid-January so I’m hoping heregers can help me out on this one!

Just looked on the BBC website to see if they'd put that dress on there and they haven't. They've only featured the outfits the women wore which is a shame. Not sure how you could find out...

I've checked out the BBC website and on their FAQ's section it says they are unable to provide details about outfits that are shown on the manequins. Rather frustrating but there you go. I'm off sales shopping tomorrow, so you never know I might come across it by chance!
