So excited about necklace storage I might burst
My UO dragonfly necklace broke today :boohoo: and I was extremely distraught. Fortunately I got it exchanged but it made me think i need to treat my necklaces with more respect. They were all tangled up in a little jewellery box. I haven't been able to find any necklace stands long enough for sme of my necklaces... soooo I took a hanger and put them all on it and hung it up on a nail on the wall :D
I'm so happy I just had to show off :o sorry
    Answer:
:faint: My, what a fab idea, and what lovely necklaces you have! I'm jealous! :p
    Answer:
    What a cool idea:D
I have some of those necklaces actually.

    Answer:
Very good idea, I have actually attached hooks to the side of one of my book shelves and hang the necklaces from there. Much easier to maintain. xxx
    Answer:
That's great and you have a fantastic necklace collection :great:

    Topshop accident!
    Whoopsie.
I was in Topshop yesterday with baby in buggy and he HATES TS for some reason, starts whiging the minute I go in- evertime:rolleyes:
So yesterday I handed him a huge sparkly bangle so he could play wth that whilst I browsed.
We were standing next to the changing rooms looking at shoes, and this huge crash sounds!
Theo had thrown the bangle down with force (it seemed) and it shattered in pieces:o
I was like "ooh no it broke", picking it up.
But no-one even looked, so I didn't know what to do, so placed the pieces on a shoe shelf and quietly left.
    How mortifying.:cmdunno:
Have you ever broken anything in a shop.
I mean- I'm not sure if I should have paid for it, but it was like £8 or £10:cmeek:
    Answer:
Sounds like a crapply (new word!) made bangle for it it to have shattered at the hands of a baby!
I haven't broken anything in a shop but a friend purposely shoved me into a shoe display in Selfridges and ran off and left me!!!! :o:o:o:o Everyone turned and stared, some snorted in laughter, some looked positively horrified. The SA who came to help me saw the funny side though.
My friends have "different" senses of humour to the rest of us!
    Answer:
i would have done the same :o
i dont give anything to leila like that though, for exactly those reasons
    Answer:
I was in dorothy perkins last summer looking at sunglasses. I tried a pair on but they didn't suit me and when I went to put them back on the stand one of the arms broke off! I looked around to see if anyone saw and then legged it
    Answer:
I'd of done the same, dont worry about it!

how many shoes do you own
i ve noticed this evening everybody's talking about shoes. so how many do you own and which shoes/footwear do you mostly buy ?
    go on...let me know...:detect:
    Answer:
not many...25ish? thats counting heels, flats, uggs, knee high boots, ankle boots.
i've got size 8 wide feet so i have a problem getting shoes to fit :boohoo::violin:
probably good for my bank balance anyway ;)
I have serious shoe envy now, after seeing Anna's collection on the other thread though :yaright:
    Answer:
Something in the high 60's. Last count was 63 but I think I've bought 3-5 pairs since then. It wasnt that long ago we had one of these threads so I'm slightly worried about my shoes buying attitude if I cant remember how many I've bought since then:o
I've bought many pairs of flats recently because I cant find the perfect pair that dont hurt my feet so I like to swap between pairs!
PV, I have the opposite(ish) I'm size 8 with really narrow feet and quite often bigger shoes are made too wide for me :boohoo: although I actually seem to measure 8.5 but in reality I seem to need a 7.5, which is a pain!
    Answer:
depends how you count really. I have around 50 pairs of shoes, plus about 20 pairs of boots and about 10 pairs of trainers. actually that's a lot isnt it:o
    Answer:
Don't know, more than anyone I know IRL but I don't think I've reached 60 yet.
Just thinking about putting my winter shoes away (i.e. boots) so it looks like I have fewer (and to keep the dust off).
Bought two new pairs yesterday and it would have been 3 if they had my size

I have looked for it in a couple of primarks since then and seen no sign!

Yeah exactly!! I'd rather pay £8 than £25! Hmmm will have to traipse to Oxf St on Thursday (payday!) ;)
    Answer:
Caramel, they had some in Hammersmith last week. The top comes up veryyyyy big, so size down.
I didn't get it, as the smallest size was too big, and I know it's supposed to be flowy, but it looked ridiculous! I don't know what going on with Primark sizes at the moment.
