Sequins
Bit of a random question i know but do you ever wear clothes with sequins or sparkly stuff casually or during the day?
I've got a purple top with some sequins on (not all over just round the waist) and i like how it looks with a clashing top layered underneath it and jeans but don't know if maybe its too sparkly for the day. I would put pics but my camera battery died :rolleyes:

I dont. but I'd love to. I dont have the confidence plus am far too ancient to get away with day time bling. but always see young studentey types wearing sparkly tops with casual stuff and they look sooooooooooooooo cool.:)

Yes, often! I've got quite a few sparkly sequinned things (some with all over sequins) and I wear them quite a bit' say a sequinned vest over a plain tee shirt with battered cowboy boots and skinny jeans or a skirt (gypsy skirts seemed to lend themselves quite well to this but that's just me).

She wrote the song etc years before it came out, if you remember it was on Eminems Stan as well, and that came out before she released it. I think (thinking bk to the days where I was OBSESSED with Eminem) she couldnt get a record deal and then he heard it and basically broke her??

I iron them when I want to wear them. I've done my washing ironing for as long as I can remember now, and it's always been easier to hang it up then iron as my wardrobes small so everything gets creases in again anyway.
Its a pain though when I cant be bothered to iron things, I pull out something that doesnt need ironed and its usually something I wouldnt of picked to wear if I had an ironed wardrobe. :rolleyes:

I very rarely need to iron my clothes as I dry them hung. If anything does need ironing it gets done just before it's worn.

I iron pretty much everthing on a sunday nite unless its a bank holiday then on a monday. My mum always did it this way think it must've rubbed off on me, i hate getting stuff out the wardrobe thats not ready to wear!

I never ever ever get anything in Primark - whenever I get a chance to go, it's the weekend, all the nice things are gone and there's nothing in my size whatsoever, until today!
Popped in during a work recce and within 15 minutes I'd bought 4 dresses a blouse and a pair of shoes. Could have bought much much more, but couldn't keep my colleague waiting.
I bought:
A floral print quite hippie maxi dress - floral on black with a halter neck
A black and white print 3/4 sleeve mini dress
A very A Line white cotton mini dress with little flutter sleeves - like the stripey andy pandy TS one if anyone knows what I mean
A very hippy ethnicy tunic dress in purples and reds
A cute cream and red outsized check shirt
Some stripey mini wedge espadrilles!

My hubby treated me to a weekend away a few months ago and lo behold... there was a Primark right NEXT to our hotel! Needless to say we spent a good few hours (and hundreds) in there, literally filled the boot of the car with brand new clothes!
