Stained top - can I take it back?

NO.1. Ask :
Stained top - can I take it back?
Hi girls,
I tried on a top in Nottingham's Coast last week which I bought, a silk blue number for £65. However, as soon as I got it back to Northern Ireland and unwrapped it, there was a strange, sticky purple stain on the side, which I'd not noticed when I tried it on. If it were cotton I'd just remove the tags and wash it but I'd want to get it dry cleaned. Could I change it for another, do you think? I have the receipt and tags are still attached.
Thanks!
x
Answer:
Yep I'd take it back and ask for an exchange.
Answer:
Yeah I would take it back and get it exchanged!

  • Abercrombie Website?

    NO.2. ask :
    Abercrombie Website?
Why does it only show the UK website?
I'm all for having Abercrombie in England etc, but seriously I dont want to be spending double the amount for something I could get relatively cheap in America! I got a £50 gift card for my birthday and have only just got round to looking to spend it, I pop onto the website and I can't even buy a nice cosy hoody for that price :cmeek: when in America I could probably buy 2 nice cosy hoodies!
So I have decided to get some American friends to bring over stuff in the summer but the only American website I can get onto is the kiddies section?! Do any of you fabulous ladies know a way of getting around this problem?!
    Answer:
I have just checked their website and AF recognizes your (the user) PC IP location/address and from that the site automatically re-directs you to whichever localized version of the site they want (the UK website), hence you can't get access to the US one. A real bummer! :boohoo:
    Answer:
Its a pain isn't it. My mums in new york at the mo and I gave her a list of a few things to get for me from AF after looking on the UK site. My sister did the same but she managed to get the US site.
If it makes any difference its pretty much exactly the same things on both sites and the price in £ is about the same price in $.
    xx
    Answer:
Thanks for replying, Huff that puts a downer on the whole thing because I was going to get it delievered to these friends, maybe they would be nice enough to pop along and get some stuff for me...*fingers crossed*
    Answer:
Its a nightmare isnt it :( The UK webby is SUCH a rip off. I also have some buddies in the US and had the same plan but I am going myself in 8 weeks so I think im just gunna have to wait and buy stuff when im there...Considering the huge price difference its really not worth forking out the money...

  • Find me a USB plug in MP3

    NO.3. ask :
Find me a USB plug in MP3
I need a new MP3. It needs to be at least 2GB, with USB plug on the end, so I can drag and drop without software and cables.
I would prefer a battery operated one as well. Can you find me one. I like the Sony, but they use their own software, and I can't upload the software as I am using a PC at work! (*that's why I need drag and drop through windows)
Can you recommend anything? Would prefer a "proper" brand.... over to you...
    Answer:
HIya, I have a Sansa mp3 player by SanDisk who are a pretty respectable brand. There is software tat comes with it but you an operate it like a normal pen drive and just drag and drop files into it. It also stores files and pictures and looks quite cool too.

Here's one of their range, plus they mostly have microSD card slots to make them bigger capacity:

    Answer:
Check out somewhere like Ebuyer.com, they normally have that sort of thing listed, plus you can read everyone's review of each item, and post additional questions about a product if you need clarification over how it operates etc.
Mr Happycat always checks that site before buying anything tech-related!
    HTH :)
    Answer:
I got one of these for £17.99 (!!) It's a little more fiddly than an ipod etc but it's basically a 2gig pen drive with an MP3 player. You can use it as a pen drive too. It has a decent lcd screen and can play mp3 and wma files. I've had it for around a month now. It takes one AAA battery so I got some rechargables and a charger.

  • Le weekend ?!

    NO.5. ask :
    Le weekend ?!
I’m starting this early this week because it’s my birthday weekend !! And I need some inspiration for outfits….
So, tonight – making a minor effort to tidy my bombsite of a bedroom, having some soup for my dinner as I cant eat anything solid, and then jumping into bed for an early night. Yoga pants and big hoody will be as stylish as it gets.
Tomorrow – mommaSP is taking me out for dinner somewhere. Not sure where yet so no idea what I’ll wear, more than likely just whatever I wear for work. Maybe black leggings, navy long vest, green chiffon polka dot puff sleeve longline shirt, navy vintage belt with gold butterfly clasp under bust, long grey cardi again and grey patent elevators.
Friday – out for dinner to a lovely little Italian with some friends for my birthday. And then out for drinks after. NO idea what to wear yet, this is where I need some inspiration please ladies ….. needs to be something bloat-friendly so maybe one of my smock dresses…..
Saturday – my birthday!! heading down to London with hotboy, where he is taking me shopping for my birthday presents! I haven’t looked around the shops for a while so I don’t have much of a wishlist ! I’ll just wear something comfy like vintage boots, tights, vest, black and white stripe longline cardi done up as a minidress, and a secure bag seeing as last weekend I got my phone nicked out of my bag !!
We’re going out for dinner in the evening, not sure where, and then out for more drinks. Again, no idea what to wear, hoping I get something new during the day.
Sunday – lazy morning in bed and then a scrummy Sunday lunch somewhere around Camden/Belsize Park.
Then heading back up this way later on in the afternoon. Will just shove on my skinnies, hoody and boots.
I am so out of touch at the minute, I have no idea what to wear for anything!! Or any idea about what’s new in the shops!:faint:
So what are you all doing, and of course wearing ???
    xx
    Answer:
Happy birthday shopa - have a fab day and get yourself to the shops this instance :D
Tonight i have my best girls coming around for supper (really stuck for food ideas so suggestions are welcome on my other thread) really comfy warm clothes as its just to cold for me at the mo, juicy bottoms, uggs and cashmere jumper.
Tomorrow night in on my tod, may start the st tropezing and filing of nails.
Friday day must get my windscreen sorted. Evening another night in by the looks of it, might get myself some beers, watch the footy, big bro, and coat 2of the san trop.
Sat over to brum to return a few things and a quick browse before heading to mr sb's for a nail/toe painting session.
Night we are out at a big awards do, only found out yest so need to find something suitable for black tie, at the moment Im thinking black slinky slash neck shift with cutwork detailing across the whole of the bust. Its a couple of inches above my knees is this ok? Shall wear my pale gold vintagey snakeskin peeptoe courts with pale gold and silver clutch and rouge noir nails. If this doesn't look right im screwed as I never have to dress up for anything!
Planning on getting very drunk with our friends and a huge lie in on sunday and then home to sort the house for my mums return home on monday.
    have lovely weekends everyone.
