I like the shape/ style but not keen on the fact that it's sheer :cmdunno:
I'm sure I've seen nicer alternatives in Zara :D
Answer:
The shape is cool, just not sure on the material from the pic, it looks like that material they make little girls fairy dresses out of.
Answer:
I love the shape of the sleeves but I'm not sure about the fabric either. It could be really nice or really yuck :cmdunno:

Answer:
1 Attachment(s) Hi Clairabelle,
I think that I saw something very similar in Coast recently. It was black, sparkly and absolutely gorgeous!
I've taken a look on the Coast website and could only find a picture for the white version - so it may be an idea to enquire instore.
Answer:

NO.3. ask :
Need Some new work suits
Ok, pay day has finally arrived need to buy myself some new work suits. Preferably skirt suits for the warmer weather, in grey, brown, striped (not plain black).
Looked in Next (not really inspired), HM from where I already have some nice suits (nothing much in there).
Any ideas? Don't want to spend much more than next prices..
Jes
Answer:
Dorothy Perkins do some really nice skirt suits at really good prices, I got a really nice skirt from there for an interview and it looked a lot more expensive than what it was.

I got two lovely suits in Principles a while back

O/T Need some advice on uni fee's
NO.4. ask :
O/T Need some advice on uni fee's
Ok totally O/T but fashion is my home and I know quite a few of you have been/are at/just finished uni and hopefully might be able to offer me some gems...
I've applied for an MSc and been offered a play at a university and I need to pay a deposit now. HOWEVER, I still have an interview for another university (one I really want to go to) to attend next week.
What I'm unsure about is if I pay the deposit and give the university an acceptance letter am I binding myself to that university place, therefore wont be able to refuse it later on if I'm offered a place at the other university? I cant be paying two sets of fee's or refusing the other university! I'm just scared I'll legally bind myself by accepting it formally with a deposit, is that so? Any help would be fab
:)
AMP
Answer:
I think you'll need to contact the university in question and ask, because different universities have different policies about this. Chances are the deposit is used to secure your place and may or may not be refundable, depending on the policy of the university in question. Once money gets into a university, they're also extremely slow to return it!
You are not usually legally bound to attend a university course (you can just not turn up and plenty of people do just that!) but you may possibly have certain legal obligations in terms of fees if you formally accept the place; I honestly don't know. It wasn't like that at my unis - you turned up with your fee letter or cheque and enrolled a few days before you were meant to start. If you didn't turn up, that was that.
Best of luck!

Wow, it all sounds so scary these days. In my day I turned up and they (or at least the government) actually gave ME around £2K a year!
:wasfield:
I hope you get it sorted angrymincepie.
Answer:
I dont really mind not getting the deposit back (its non-refundable anyway). I just dont want to be expected to pay £4000 fee's for a course I no longer want to take. Eurgh
Thanks for the advice though ladies xx
Shoes to match my dress- HELP!!!!
NO.5. ask :
Shoes to match my dress- HELP!!!!
Hello!
My 21st is coming up and I'm going to the races, I've finally got my hands on a lovely dress (see below).
I'm really struggling with knowing how to accessorise it, my parents are buying me pearls so I'll be wearing them and was thinking of getting a vintage style hair comb because I'm having my curly hair half pinned back but I'm totally stuck with shoes, what colour, style etc?
This is the dress
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks xx
Answer:
Your dress is beautiful :throb:
IMO it would be gorgeous with gold accessories
#
But if you want to recall pearls color you could wear ivory/silver shoes
Answer:
I think these are the winners but they are out of stock, I might pop into the shop this afternoon and snap them up or even better telephone all the nearby stores to track them down. They have a matching bag too- bonus!
Thank you!
P.S. The dress is from la redoute and a mere snip at £45 reduced from £130!!
Answer:
oops, I didn't noticed it when i posted :o
Answer:
Haha, its okay its given me a really good idea of what to look for now and there are loads of similar styles in other shops so you were a great help. Thanks  :D
