just wondering what people are up to today, mine is pretty boring - i have about 5 job application forms to fill in, need to sort out my bills for this month and i need to tidy up as well
going to a party later so need to get organised for that too - can't decide what to wear, need to shave my legs and put some fake tan moisturiser on
so what are you doing today?
xx
Answer:
Not much really.
I've already been shopping. Will prob tidy up at some point today.
Might have a clear out of wardrobe too!
Will wait for Mr Tigs to get home and will prob go out for a drink or 2 later :)
Have a good day everyone
Answer:
Nothing exciting:
- tidying up. Boring, but must be done
- watching some dvds. I splurged a bit on the Play sale
- do some job applications. Not sure why I'm bothering as I'm going to uni - I guess I'm afraid of something good passing my by?
- send some emails.
My weekends are really boring. I must try and do something about it :cmdunno:
Answer:
Not very exciting either:
- Weekly shop, I went to ASDA this week and was amazed at how much cheaper it was;
- Went to Post Office to send a couple of ebay parcels;
- Done three hours' overtime (cataloguing for a work project);
- Will have a snooze for half an hour;
- Will tidy up;
- Meeting Mr A later for food, drinks and a DVD.

  • She's thrown them away!

    NO.2. ask :
    She's thrown them away!
    I work from home and every friday instead of getting a takeaway at night I treat myself to the luxury of a cleaner. Anyway she has been coming for eighteen months and is very skinny.Last night I baked some yummy chocolate brownies and there were some left overs which were a bit broken and crumbly left out on a tray. My plan was to have them mid morning with a cup of tea. But she's only gone and thrown them in the bin:mad:
    But I won't say anything because she is a good cleaner, I need her, I shouldn't be eating brownies anyway as I need to lose weight and what would be the point.Next time I will hide them. She could have eaten them at least not throw them to waste.
    Answer:
    Oh no. I hate it when that happens - when you've been looking to eating something and then its gone. My OH is usually the culprit in our house though!
    Answer:
    This keeps happening to me. I was desperate for a Jaffa cake, as low calorie sweet option, the other day. I had just bought a whole box and Mr Spanish had eaten the lot! Maybe I'm just not supposed to eat fun foods.
    Answer:
    Aw, how disappointing, especially when you made them yourself!
    Sanddancer, that's kind of like when you go to get a biscuit - and you know there are some left because you saw the packet in the cupboard earlier - and it turns out Mr. [insert here username] has eaten them all and left the empty pack in the cupboard. I hate that, it takes me ages to get it out of my system :lol:.
    xxx
    Answer:
    Leaving the empty packet behind makes it worse too because for a second you get your hopes up!
    All these food threads are making me hungry.

  • Driving lessons in Glasgow?

    NO.4. ask :
    Driving lessons in Glasgow?
    Have any baggers had driving lessons in/near Glasgow? I'm looking for a good instructor (and the cheaper the better!) but it's hard to know who's good.
    Thanks muchly :D
    Answer:
    Don't know what area you in but I do my lessons with Crookston Driving School(although they are based in Ibrox :lol:). Get to drive a mini if you want for no extra charge which was the clincher for me :lol: Its £20 an hour for a lesson which is one of the best prices I found.
    Answer:
    I'm on the other side of town! Why is it called Crookston Driving School if it's in Ibrox? :confused: Same side of town, I spose! That's a really good price though!
    Answer:
    A friend of mine recommended my driving instructor to me, but to be honest, I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere with him so I'm switching to BSM. Everyone rates BSM, they move reasonaby swiftly through things and their prices are the average (about £20) an hour.
