Please help
hi, i have my end of year prom in a few weeks time and i have a dress, but have no idea what to wear with it.

The dress in much nicer IRL, and i love it to bits, but i am unsure whether to go for goldy/cream accessories or bright colours to match the coloured bits on the dress. Any suggestions?

Answer:
Hello :) I can't see the dress, could you post a picture of it?
Answer:

(replace the **** with f c u k)
Answer:
Hmm, normally I don't like colourful accessories with formalwear but i think they'd work really well with that dress. Pick a colour and accessorise in it, . I'd say, patent red peeptoes, a red clutch and big chandelier earrings (either goldy or silver-y to taste). Cream accessories would be a bit bland, I think -gold would be pretty but also a bit bland.
Answer:
thanks Loony! Pretty dress! I would e tempted to accessorise with emerald green of purple, but with glass transparent jewlery rather than bright matt colour plastic if you see wha i mean?

    body shape?
don't know if this is the right place, but anyway -
what body shape am i? pear shape or hourglass?
i am tall and a bit long waisted. i am 32E, 28 waist and 38 hip. my hips are both wide side to side and out there at the back. i have sloping shoulders which are a shade smaller than my hips.
now i know that my hips are bigger than my chest, but only just. my ribcage is proportionately small compared to the rest of my body, but my bust is quite big. i very definitely go in and out.
    what's the verdict?
    Answer:
i would say you are slightly more pair shaped than hourglass.
i am the same sort of way as you with E cup boobs but big hips, so sort of a mixture of Pear and hourglass.
I think when you are slightly more pear shaped certain cuts and styles can really emphasise this and make you look unbalanced.
    Answer:
    I'd say pear shaped, too.
Count yourself lucky, I'm apple shaped :boohoo:
    Answer:
I would say only slightly pear shaped, because you have the bust to balance out your hips...sounds like you have an amazing figure though *jealoussmiley* :heyhey:
    Answer:
mostly pear with a touch of hourglass about you.

I really fancy some but am struggling to picture what shoes to wear with them?
Tops wise i think i'd stick to slash neck tees/ backless tees and vests.
    Any suggestions?
Oh and has anyone seen them in primark recently? I refuse to pay £20s for them on ebay when they half the price instore.
    Thanks xx
    Answer:
I think plainish flats would look good. Electric blue skinnies sound lushous by the way. So yar because they are so dramatic I'd keep the footwear simple. Some ballerina flats obv choice I'd say in a silver or black.
    Answer:
I have a pair of shoes form New Look in silver and black that look fantastic with skinnies - I'd like them with electirc blue skinnies too. They are a Christian Louboutin looka likey with a peep toe and a heel.

I alos think flats could be good, and possibly wedges. Silver and black would IMO be the easiest, most versatile colours. Although I think a leopard print or zebra print shoe could work too :)
    Answer:
    The gold copacobanas.....mmmmm :lick:
    Answer:
LOVE the sound of these, has anyone got a pic of the Primark ones? Guess if I look on the bay I'll find one pretty quickly.
I think some pointy 80s style stilletoes might look quite cool...
ETA: Just found them, definitely going to try and find them to try on. Think my patent grey elevators are a much better idea than my previous suggestion

Amanda Holden was wearing a black butterfly necklace on Britain's Got Talent. Did anyone see it? Any idea where I could get one?
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong forum... but not sure who to ask!
    Answer:
    This one?
    Answer:
    Yes!
    Any ideas?
    Answer:
I can't see the picture but is it a big black plastic shaped butterfly - which could look like a child's rattle ? If so, then Oasis were selling necklaces like that and i think Accessorise have made hair clips the same so might have necklaces as well.
    Answer:
I've been lusting after the necklace too - it's so pretty.
