1 Attachment(s) I need help with an outfit for my friends wedding at the beginning of July!
I wore this dress to a wedding last autumn and can't find anything I like better in the shops so am going to wear it to this one too (different people going). I wore it with black TS slams and and black necklace last time so I need to make it a bit more summery. The picture doesn't do the dress justice at all, it's quite a classic 50's shape with a low sweetheart necklace, a high nipped in waist, full floaty skirt and cute tulip style sleeves.
I can't wear white or very strappy shoes (my feet are like hooves), but apart from that I am open to suggestions.

I'd probably be predictable and stick red shoes with it, with some unusual red jewellery.
Silver would work too, of course, and gold, and hot pink, and mustard. It could look quite cool with mustard shoes and clashy hot pink jewellery, but that might be too funky/quirky for a wedding!

Holiday was good, although slightly blighted by the fact that I had (unbeknowst to myself) gastritis. I've been signed off work for the next week and told to take it very easy for a couple of days. Could be worse, I suppose!

I'm still living at home due to being a poor student and my bedroom is tiny!
It's also too cluttered and looks like a tip.
I haven't got much storage space and I can't fit anymore furniture in (bed, desk, drawers, TV unit), so any tips or examples of how you organise your rooms would be great!

I'm in the same boat, and all I can say is, have regular ruthless clearouts, if you find it hard to throw stuff away sell it on ebay as it's easier to get rid of something if you feel like you're gonna get money for it. Put shelves up on the walls so that they aren't taking up floor space. I don't have a desk, I just put my laptop on my knee while I'm sat in my bed, and find that more comfortable anyway. If poss, get a TV that you can put on top of your drawers/on the wall. And I also pack my holiday stuff and out of season clothes in suitcases for the loft, and throw away Uni notes/handouts etc as soon as they aren't useful anymore. Another thing you can do if you have a computer is put all your notes, music, photos etc onto the computer so that they aren't cluttering your room, and sell any books that you won't look at again x

Have done a major tidying up session today, and will tackle stuff to sell next week when I'm not so busy with work!
I feel 100% better now it's tidier, as I have put all my 'tack' (ornaments etc that I've been holding onto for sentimental reasons) in a box under my bed, so that's given me some extra shelf space and just sorted stuff into a proper place so it all looks a bit less cluttered!

Just ordered some Miss S black skinnies, they came today - fine of the calves, but on the thighs they were huge and looked ridiculous - they were a size 6, also have some grey slim leg French Connection jeans from last year (also 6) and they are ok but still not as fitting on the thigh as I'd like.
Soooooo am thinking of ordering the TS B jean and wondered if anyone has them and are they quite tight on the thighs. Its really awkward to say obviously because you don't know my leg width but any info would be appreciated.
Otherwise can you suggest any other (online) skinny jeans in dark blue/black to try? No budget really.

If you have no budget then I'd suggest trying a designer brand. Suprfine come to mind - they are seriously skinny, I often can't get them past my knees :lol: Or Cheap Mondays for a cheaper option.

Topshop's B jeans are quite skinny but I wouldn't say they're reeeally tight or anything they stretch A LOT so probably best to stay away from those :lol: HM skinnies are excellent though, I got a pair of indigo ones (£29.99) from there a couple of years ago they're still as 'skinny' as ever :great: They're quite skin-tight (especially after a wash) very close-fitting on the ankles too which is what I usually have problems with as some skinnies look straight leg on me :rolleyes:

Did anyone see the fashion bit on this morning? I really loved the shoes that the model was wearing from littlewoods they were the Love Label ones, she was wearing them with white skinny jeans. I have looked on the littlewoods website and can't see them. Can anyone else see them on the website?
