Email help
Hi girls  basically i've totally messed up this year at uni due to lots of different things (don't want to go into them now) but i really want to try again and finish my last year. I'm sending this email to the main tutor. Can you just read and let me know if its ok? Thank you
Dear .....
I'm not sure if you're the right person to be sending this email to, but as Head of Early Childhood Studies and as a member of staff who i know,i feel you are the most appropriate person.
As you are obviously aware i will not be graduating in July with the rest of my year. This has been due to various personal issues which i am now taking steps to resolve. Along with resolving these issues I would also really like to be given the opportunity to finish my degree as i worked hard throughout my time at the University and know that i have the ability to achieve, particularly in my dissertation which was something i was really excited about doing as i chose a subject i was very passionate about.
Basically what i am asking is if there would be a place available to me in the next academic year (September 2007) to finish my degree? I would really appreciate it if you could contact me via this email address or my mobile 07.........
Regards
Pinkfluff

Just to let you know I've changed my username from Misses to MissButterfly, this means more to me now :) .
Also added a picture of my handsome boy, so let me introduce you to the love of my life Steven :D . Named after Cat Stevens - was funny when he was a kitten, not so funny now when I'm shouting him in on an evening :p .

Steven looks just like my Daphne who is currently providing me with more small half chewed birds and mammals than I can actually eat ;)

Lovely :D . I actually haven't had any presents for ages, now I've said that he'll probably bring me something! Although I usually get them still alive, so I have to run round the house trying to catch them :cmdunno: .
Answer:
Aw, your cat's cute! I love animals with human names:D
I'd love to get a pet but worry about stuff like going away for the weekend and having no one to look after it. Luckily, there are a few neighbourhood cats who come and say hello when I'm in the garden.

People who wear black trousers to work...

People who wear black trousers to work...
How do you make the outfit interesting?
I've been doing the trinny and susannah thing of waering a metallic vest over black or white shirts and t-shirts or wearing a long top with a big belt and going for pendant necklaces, also been making the most of my shoes collection, other than that I'm a bit stuck really!
I dont want to get stuck in a rut of black trousers and plain tops...
Answer:
I wear black trousers maybe 2-3 days a week at most (and sometimes not at all). When I do, I usually go for a lightweight jumper with an interesting neckline or in a lux fabric (say cashmere), often with a skinny belt over the top and interesting jewellery. One of my standard outfits is black trousers, a beigey cream cowl neck jumper and black patent accessories.
I also do things like:
-- White shirt, teal bangle, leopard print shoes
-- Chiffon blouse, either over a light vest or under a tank top. Pussy bow blouses look particularly good this way.
-- Sleeveless lightweight knitted shell or tank top, again usually belted.
-- And for a slightly more masculine vibe, a well-cut tee shirt with slouchy trousers and a big chunky belt, accessorised with just the one striking piece of jewellery.

Answer:
I'm wearing skinnie black trousers today with antique gold slams, a particularly voluminous black silk smock with 3/4 sleeves, very long thick twisted gold necklace and massive snake gold bangle plus my hermes birkin.
I wear black trousers once a week and black capri pants once a week as well.

Thanks Geek! You've given me some great ideas! I'd forgotten how much I love teal with leopard print. I will have to investigate pussy bow blouses, I've always liked them but never felt the need for one as a student, but now that I'm not I can start to dress a bit smarter!
Mitchey that outfit your wearing sounds :faint: you describe it so well, it was like reading porn :o and you reminded me that I'm still lusting after a snake bangle!

I posted in the bar at the time but I know lots of Fashion people dont go in there and I've posted in here about my exam stress and had some lovely responses so though I would share my exam results!
They came out on Thursday and I now have a 2.1 degree in accountancy :D :D :D :D and initials after my name! B.Acc. (Hons) I think they are!
I'm now considering applying for jobs that will put me through my CA training so I can become a Chartered Accountant. Not sure what I'll do after but my degree grants me certain exemptions for up to two years and I feel I should take advantage!
