Samsonite Suitcases, worth the money? Or any other good suitcases?

NO.1. Ask :
Samsonite Suitcases, worth the money? Or any other good suitcases?
I need some new luggage, was thinking about getting these:
Means forking out £220 for cases but then with Freemans I get 10% back so actually £198.
Are they any good? Or can anyone rec any other suitcases please?
Answer:
Hi GATC
I have this case in red. (the larger one). Bought mine from a retail outlet for £100. I used it just recently for a 2 week holiday in California. It's great but you'll have to watch your weight limit. We were right on the edge. You can get loads in it so it gets quite heavy.
Answer:
I had a Delsey case for about ten years but it did take a lot of battering. It was solid but quite heavy not like the lightweight ones that are around nowadays.Nowadays you don't need to spend a fortune for a decent case. I think Matalan does good luggage.
Answer:
Thanks KJB, wish there was a thanks button here
I don't know if I'll have chance to get to a retail park before I go but might try. Do you think that the medium will be too small for a 2 week holiday? Hard to say I know as it all depends on how much we take but I deffo don't want to overload :cmdunno:
Thanks SpanishDancer, I had a Matalan case, it only lasted one holiday unfortunately.
Answer:
TKMaxx had Samsonite luggage a few weeks ago.
Like KJB says, they are quite heavy, even with nothing in them! So you do have to watch what you pack.

Roberto Cavalli for H and M
Not sure if it has been mentioned already (I'm just shooting in and out) but Cavalli will be the next collaberation with H and M. I am a bit bored of all the high street-designer lines at the moment and I think Cavalli had his heyday with Victoria Beckhams long skirts about three years ago. But maybe I am just in a bah humbug mood today....

Grand Prix - What to wear?
    Ladies,

Im off to the Grand Prix in July. Im not sure what to wear. There will be a lot of walking around I assume so comfy shoes or wedges are in order I think.

    Got this from Next

can it be worn with dark blue skinny jeans and a casual T? Any other suggestions?

    Thank you

    Answer:
Just a note, I've been to the Grand Prix 3 times and comfy clothes/shoes are a must. It takes ages to walk round the circuit (about an hour) from one end to another. Also the seats in the stands are very uncomfortable so try and be as relaxed as poss.
    Answer:
Ah, thanks SoVogue, this is my first time so any tips would be welcome.
    Answer:
    jealous!
    i'm very jealous of you!
assuming you are going to the british grand prix and the weather is hot, i would ditch the coat, wear a long sleeved tee or tee, comfy jeans and trainers.
i kid you not, walking round that circuit is a bit of a b*tch!
i went in the dreaded year of dreadfulness where i missed half the grand prix queuing as there was nowhere to park cars and it turned into a quagmire.
i wore a jumper and jeans and was truly baking.
also, wait until everyone has left and all the drivers have sodded off and you can walk the entire circuit. it is a couple of miles of course, but it is amazing and you can find and keep bits off the cars. i've still got my bug of rubble 10 years on! and you can walk down the pits and see the cars close up. definitely worth it...
i'm such a grand prix nerd, sorry :o
    Answer:
    Thanks Sazemoo.
Yes, its the british on at Silverstone. I hope the weather is good. Its the Saturday Im going, will be qualifying rounds but interesting nonetheless. Im really looking forward to it.

    Thanks again for the tips.

    I need some help...
I've fallen in love with the patterened dress (see attached pic!) from the Johnson's Shower Shave and Holiday Skin advert.
Does anyone have any idea where I'd be able to get hold of it?
    Thanks x
    Answer:
I'm not 100% because I haven't seen the ad and that's a *really* tiny pic, but is it from Miss Selfridge?
    Answer:
It is the one from Miss S but it was instore a good while ago, I liked it too but it was far too short for me :boohoo:
    Answer:
    Thank you
Thank you babyzee... it is that one from Miss Selfridge and it was in the sale woo! I've managed to order one off the website although they only had it left in one size - so fingers crossed it fits me!
