Outfit Ideas
Hey all! :wave:
I need some suggestions for an outfit to wear this weekend.
I have my shoes - Purple Velvet open toe platforms with gold trim (Dorothy Perkins)
I can't think of anything to wear with them :o
The venue is a fancy Vodka bar. Also I've got some really bad bruising all down one leg (know idea?) so I can't wear a dress/skirt unless i've got opaques on!

I'd wear black leggings/footless tights which hides your bruises but still shows off the shoes. I would probably wear black shorts and a black top with that, so the shoes are the feature of your ensemble ;)

The shorts and the top sound like they would go nice with the shoes, I get what you mean by making the shoes the feature! Damn bruises!
I'm going to pop out to the shops on my lunch break so i'll try that combination!
I only have short dumpy legs, so footless tights/leggings can be hit or miss on me!!

I don't think it would be too much black, you can add more colour with your accessories and here, even try out some purple eyeshadow too.
If the leggings don't work you could wear black opaques. :)

i work for an opticians and most of the designer sunnies chloe,prada,gucci.d+g etc are ordered from italy,trouble is the italian warehouses shut down at the beginning of aug for a month for holidays!(cant be bad!)so theyl prob be ready to ship in a month but will sit in the warehouse for a month because there wont be anybody there to send them out!try and find another pair you like if you can,it prob wont be summer anymore by the time you get them!:boohoo: :)

I'm off to London tomorrow. Pottering around the shops in the day, then going to the Meltdown Festival at the South Bank in the evening (to see Jarvis Cocker). It looks like it's going to be pouring down tomorrow :( I'm having a clothing crisis - does anyone have any outfit suggestions? Thanks.

The weather does look a bit iffy - I'd probs wear skinnies and converse, or a dress leggings and converse/flat pumps. Wear layers and bring a brolly. Hope you have a lovely day!

I got back this afternoon, it was seriously pouring at some point earlier. I wore rolled up straight leg jeans and flat sandals. Maybe consider some wellies :eek: :lol:

I always thought asti was just cheap champagne, may be wrong though!! I think it might just be case of pricing them up in the supermarkets and bargain booze etc then just getting the cheapest! Its not the kind of thing you usually see offers on I dont think

I'm pretty sure most supermarkets do their own version of it which will be cheaper then the martini one. Also tesco and sains quite often do offers on their wine, like 20% if you buy a certain amount so its worth checking out
