Hi there, i work in the city as well ... (im pressuming you mean London!) I just wear pointed black high heels, black trousers and then any old top with some nice beads! I think a lot of people in the city leave their shoes at work and wear trainers to and from the station!

Instead of going for boring suits why not mix and match them with other items instead? ;)
Do invest in some basics for instance:
-White, well cut, crisp shirt (shirts can be fab if well cut and crisp, Id go for a few, wrap around ones or simply singled buttoned in white, blues, pale pinks)
- Cream crisp well cut trousers (with turn ups and nice fitted waist but wide legged) also look great with wrap around tops and heels
- instead of pointy toed or round toed heels why not invest in some peep toed nicely heeled shoes? more springy/summery and funkier than ordinary heels
- lots of nice accessories: even if you have a plain outfit, you can do wonders with the right accessories (necklaces, belts, scarves, etc.)
- get your hair cut into a nice haircut (if your hair looks well, you will feel better and look much smarter too!) ;)
- nice leather big bag in either tan/camel which suits spring/summer(you can take all your goodies and still look fashionable)
- avoid black trousers and white shirt outfit which makes anyone look like a maid imho :(

Everyones different really so go with something you are going to be comfortable in as you are at work all day! the other day i wore these knee length shorts.... they had shrunk (i dare say i put on weight) and they were cutting in places that you dont wanna know about!!
TBH i think you can get some lovely big bags from primark, i have 3 and they are so reliable! Get some smart trousers, knee high shorts and skirts, i normally stick to a black colour and then wear with a bright coloured shirt, polo nect, vest etc!
If you do work in London, petty coat lane market is brilliant for bright coloured shirts and they have some lovely flowey knee lenght skirts! There is also this shop called body basics and they sell some of the best dresses ever!
I always try and steer clear of any skirts that are too short or ne tops that show your boobs!

Ok, well I wasn't reeeally sure where to ask, but you ladies are so helpful, that one of you might know. Last night in a fit of... high spirits I went to the park to go on the swings. However, I was holding my ipod too, so it's been all scratched up where I held the chain too. Does anyone know of anything that will get rid of, or ease the scratches?? There may be clothes you can get, but I can't find any..?

Hi is it on the screen or the main part of the eyepod? I dont think there is much you can do really apart from getting a cover for it to protect it from future scratches and to hide the current one. I got a rubber skin for my nano which also came with a screen cover to protect it and its been brilliant.
They have loads of different types of cases, covers and skins on play.com you should be able to find something to fit yours

might sounds crazy but try rubbing a bit of jif or cif or similar on the scratches, worked on a watch face of mine. obviously not too much so it doesnt go inside.
