I agree, a dress with a nice cardi + shoes it would be a good choice since it will be in July

Any ideas?
My lovely cream shrug from Laura Ashley has just come out of the wash (all whites and creams) which a big stain on the elbow. Possibly chocolate. I've put Vanish on it and washed it by hand again but the stain's still there :(
I'm so cross - it's the first time I've washed it and I've been so careful when wearing it, I don't know where the stain came from! Plus the seam came away at the back in the wash, so if it hadn't stained, I would have taken it back to get it replaced, but now I don't think I could take it back.
I spent £35 on it which is a lot for me, but I spent it because it was exactly what I was looking for. I think I'm going to have to re-buy it, but that'll mean I'll have spent £70 on it, and thinking that makes me shudder.
Does anyone have any ideas of things I could try? I'd be most grateful.
Answer:
Salt? it might not work but Mr Pink got blood on his cricket whites (don't even ask!) so I got on tinternet and it said soak them in water with salt in it..there can be no worse stain than blood, so its worth a try.
Also I have vanish stick where you wet the fabric and then rub it on (it looks like a roll on deoderant) that's got out grass and the red stain from the cricket ball although you need to put ten tons on.
good luck!
Answer:
Have you tried washing it again, reusing Vanish as well?
It might just need a couple of attempts
this forum here says Milk or something like 7-Up will remove it..
Answer:
Stain devils are quite good if you have a fair idea what the stain is. I got chocolate off a white skirt very successfully using this method!
Best of luck with it, things like this seem to happen to me all the time so i can totally empathise with the frustration of it! :cmdunno:
Answer:
You could try Ecover bleach powder, it's very gentle, doesn't have any harsh chemicals in and can be used on some items that bleach isn't suitable for... I've soaked white stuff in it overnight (put some in water) and it has removed stains nothing else has worked on. Best to try on an inconspicuous area of the shrug first in case it lightens it or something.
did anyone get the kate moss one sleeved dress?

a few weeks ago I got a high waisted skirt that looked really nice and then yes2day I got ferrari red playsuit thats a boob tube hot/pants combo.
and its not an understatement to say that I am exctatic that I can actually pull these things off! because I dont think I have the best body in the world, such an ego boost when things that are labled the most unflattering clothes you can get, and you can wear them!
am I alone here? or are any of you the same?

Jewellery
I've just bought a dress from Asda to wear to a wedding. It's white with black leaf and bird pattern.
What colour jewellery should I wear with it? I have thought about making/buying a black and white necklace, but then wondered if perhaps I should throw in a bit of colour. What do you think?
Thanks!
Answer:
The dress sounds lovely! I think loads of colours would work with it, deep cherry red, grass green, teal. I particularly like the idea of grass green as it would pick up the leaf pattern. But I can't find any examples online, typically.
I think this would be very pretty with it:
and this one:
For some reason, I'm imagining the print to be quite delicate rather than bold, if so, I would put it with this because it makes me think of willow pattern china with the three colours together, and wear with silver heels for a very crisp look:
Alternatively, purple would be pretty too:

1 Attachment(s) Thanks for those links. The neckalces are certainly very pretty. I've added a picture now so you can see the print. What do you think?
Answer:
I'd go for red or else classic silver jewellery :)
Answer:
hmmm... I was thinking red too. Perhaps I could make a necklace with a red centre piece, and black and white either side
