Espadrille wedges
Would quite like some espadrille wedges to wear in the day so not ridiculously high, probably something along lines but not as high. Has anyone seen any nice ones anywhere?
ETA: I like too but again they're too high...

I don't like the satin versions (the taupe is lovely tho), I think Aldo does have some lovely espadrilles (some look very louboutinesque) at the mo ;)

Thanks, I kind of agree about the satin ones, there's something not quite right about them. What's Aldo sizing like? Don't have a store near me so would have to order online...

Not sure about Aldo sizing Karina, but I really like the shape of them.
I too have been looking for something similar ever since Mitchy (I think?) posted about the Carvela ones earlier in the season. Much as I love them, I just felt they were a tad too high for me stomping around during the day :o TBH, the Aldo ones look like they might be the same height, or higher maybe?
Have you seen the wedges on the Matches site? I'm too dumb to post a link, but off to have a look now for you. I'm sure I spied some contenders the other night, but I remember thinking that they didn't have my size....
ETA OK, on pages 2 and 3 of the shoes, there are a couple of pairs by Castaner -one style is a highish patent wedge, and the other looks slightly lower -comes in black and stone, but really limited sizes. Also, there are some Louboutins (sp?) :faint: but again, they look high to me. See what you think...

sorry to do this girls but i am so desperate for a pair of the primark wedges that naz bought the other day, i have been to all my local primarks and none have my size
if anyone is near a primark i would be so grateful if they would pick me a pair up, i would need a 3 and would like either dark brown, cream or gold (gold would be my first choice if there were all of the colours)
i will of course pay immediatly and be happy to return the favour

Just spotted this on the Oasis site and am wondering if I could pull it off as a dress and wear it out clubbing.
Anyone tried it on and know if it is long enough?
Not sure what colour either.
I can see the Ivory with my Gold Aldo Copas and some statement gold jewelery.
Can see the pink or possibly yellow with my grey patent elevators and my UO unicorn pendant.
What do we think?

The yellow and pink are only £25, where as the Ivory is £50. So I'm edging towards the yelllow or pink. Not sure which would suit me more, I'm olive skinned with dark hair, could I pull of a yellow dress?

I seem to have a bit of a thing about yellow at the moment.
You'll be pleased to hear I managed to find a pair of shoeses to go with the Playsuit. I got some really cute high heeled mustard slingbacks in Primarni for a tenner. I'm really chuffed with them!
