here favour
I need a huge here favour.
I was selected a few days ago to buy one of those new season colours AH bags. They don’t mail to outside the UK and I am here in Ireland. Anyway, I had hoped that my friend in Manchester could accept delivery, but she will be out of the country on hols for the next few weeks. So, now I need someone in the UK to accept delivery (you have to sign for it) for me, and post it to me in Dublin. I will of course pay postage etc. Can anyone help a little Irish girl out?

Answer:
Hi Irish,
How long will it be before they post them out, I`m going on holiday on the 20th for two weeks but any time before then you could have it sent to my work address in London and I can forward it to you.

Another eBay question - Item not received
Hi Changing Room baggers
Hope you're all having a lovely evening, I have a quick question to ask you.
On 10th June I won and paid for via Paypal an item of clothing on eBay, and I haven't yet received it.
I emailed the seller one week ago, and she said that it has been posted.
I then emailed her again on Wednesday 21st asking what method she posted it (i.e. First Class etc) She hasn't replied.
How long should I wait before opening a dispute for an item not received?
I've never had this problem before.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance :thanks:

Sorry, I don't know the answer but just had a fit of the giggles at seeing this

eta: Sorry, also meant to say, I hope you get it sorted out.
Answer:
I think you can open a dispute 10 days after an item has been purchased. I have recently had to open an item dispute for an item that I bought in April and still haven't received!!! The person that I bought it from kept saying that it was on it's way, then later said that they would check to see if it had been posted!!!??? (surely they should have known if it had been posted!). They lead me on a right merry dance!!!
Answer:
I too am waiting for an item i paid for with paypal on the 14th June, seller said if paid before 3pm, next day deilvery ...i am still waiting 9 days later and not happy. I emailed the seller and he said it posted the 15th June, i advised not received yet and he checked the address, not heard from him since. I will wait another day then file item not received.
It makes me cross as i always send items i sell by special or recorded delivery, and thats what i paid for, yet still waiting.

Hello. Need help!
As i said in a earlier thread i start work in the city, an two weeks i have some clothes
grey trousers+black shirt
black trousers+white shirt
Brown trousers and caramel shirt
I need a bag and shoes, that go with everything, (black and brown) i saw a friend with a green, dark green coulor not suree whether a like it, can you please help me out, bags and shoes!!! pictures if you have any! x x x
Answer:
What is your budget?
How about tan coloured shoes, like these from NEXT?
These bags are from NEXT too.
Answer:
Bags and shoes! One of my favourite topics! ;)
Brown or tan is good, but black or grey would cover everything a bit better, imo. Do you want flats, low heels or ? ......bag size? Do you need a smart tote?
Try Oasis for some decent bags (they've got a 50% off sale on now too), Matalan might have something too to get you started. House of Fraser and Miss Selfridge (70% off sale on with them now) do good bags and shoes at reasonable prices.
Answer:
Your best bet is to go for tan shoes and a tan bag - this is the most versatile colour and will go with far more than black will (contrary to popular belief!!)
:)
Answer:
whats wrong with a bright colour? red would go with everything bag wise, shoes stick with black of dark brown
Two of my UO pendants have broke
NO.4. ask :
Two of my UO pendants have broke
I bought two pendants from UO the over sized pearl and the red heart shaped mirror. I’d say I bought them at the Beginning of May. Both were £16I’d say I have worn each a handful of times.
About a week ago, the red part of the heart mirror came off. Then on Friday the pearl dropped off of the other one.
I suppose I could glue them both back together. But it seems a bit ridiculous to me. I don’t have my receipt as I love them both and had every intention of keeping them. Do you think I should try to exchange them?

Answer:
Yes!
If you have the broken pieces take those in too - UO stuff should really last for more than 2 months! I think they should exchange them for you :)
Good luck
Answer:
Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking. UO are well known for their gorgeous jewellery, and at £16 a pendant you would expect that they would last for longer than 2 months.
Its just a bit embarrassing going in with two broken pendants, they'll probably wonder what the hell I've been doing with them :o
Thanks for the reply!

Answer:
UO jewellery is shit! My dragonfly necklace broke after its 2nd wear! I still need to exchange that actually. I just can't be assed to go to UO at the mo.
They'll exchange no problem. They're used to dodgy jewellery exchanges. Had 2 exchange my heart one after it tangled itself into a mess too.
Answer:
Hiya CX
Yeah I have to say it does seem pretty shite.
I bought a long beady unicorn one and when I got home and took it out of the bag it had broke and all the beads had come off. I took that back straight away as I had the receipt. The SA told me not to bother exchanging it as loads of people were returning them for the same reason.
I was just a bit worried about going in with these two as I don't have the receipt. But like you say I guess they must be used to it.

Answer:
If no one else can do it, I'll do it for you. The only thing is I'm also on holiday in about three weeks time, so if it was to come while I was away, my Dad will sign for it (he runs his own business and is therefore always there to sign for my packages :o ) but you might have to wait a few extra days 'till I get back to post it for you.
It's because you might have to wait I'd rather see if someone else can do it, if not then it's no bother :D
Answer:
Hiya! thanks so much! that would be great! I really appreciate it. I dont mind the wait. I will pm you now!

Irish, did you see my reply on the other thread? They posted my bag to Ireland in March and I've ordered another one now without any problem. Postage is £6 though, but still a lot less than ebay.
