I have lusted after them for ages and now they're in the sale I let myself try them on and lust for them even more. But I feel £99 is a lot of green stuff...So, someone tell me that they're hideous. It's not even as though I have a fab glitzy party to wear them to - or anything that would go with them... :(
    Answer:
    Is that a perspex heel?
    Answer:
    They're vile!!
    ;)
    Answer:
They are special. I love them

    One for the clubbers
    Hi all,
Am going to an indoor/outdoor clubbing event this Saturday daytime and was wondering what to waer... I am a seasoned clubber so know what goes (anything, basically!) but I'd like to make a bit more of an effort and have an outfit that will work for the day and also for the evening. Think we're going to go to a bar around Old St when it finishes rather than the official afterparty.
So.... any recs out there? I am 5'7, average build.
Thanks in advance for any advice! :D
    Answer:
Where you going Snowleopard? Might help on suggesting what to wear - music/age/people etc.
    Answer:
It's a dance music event, in the King Cross Yard complex (around the Cross, Bagleys etc). Will attract a cross-section of people, some less desirable than others! Ages up to mid thirties I guess.
The evening will be your standard Old St/Shoreditch crowd so something a bit funkier would fit in well.
    Thanks :)
    Answer:
Ok, cool, sounds good. Some of those venues have outside bits so don't know if shorts are going to be too cold.....what about high waisted shorts, plain vest tucked in, long chains with elevator shoes, or skinnies, tight blackless top, heels or ballet flats, or tunic top, waist belt, opaques, platforms?
Hard to suggest without knowing too much about you on here but gives you a few ideas to get going!
    Answer:
What about a playsuit? would probably be quite comfy for all day wear too

    NO.4. ask :
    What accessories with this dress?
1 Attachment(s) I've got a wedding coming up for which I'm hoping to recycle an old dress and just update it with accessories but I'm a bit stuck on what to get to funk it up a bit. The dress is a bit of a funny colour, sort of a dark lilac/silver colour and I think it looks good with silver but it's a bit baggy on the back so I'm looking for either a belt to pull it together, or a cardi or some sort, has anyone seen any silver belts or cardis that would work?
I've got these silver shoes, do they look ok? I'm not sure what jewellery to wear with it either. Any help appreciated!
    Answer:
Sorry I am lacking brain power today but just wanted to say thats a fab dress! Shoes go well too, will have a think about a cardi but I don't think a belt would go x
    Answer:
Thanks Pancakes, I wasn't sure about a wide belt under the bust as it's an empire line but I think you may be right, it would prob look wrong. I found this cardi but it's gold not silver:
and this one but I think the sleeves are a bit long for an August wedding:
I like the idea of a tie-cardi though as I'm concious of my stomach at the moment as I've put on a bit of weight, if anyone sees a silver short sleeve tie-cardi, let me know!
    Answer:
Ooh my best friend has that gold cardi, its gorgeous. I think the first link is the closest i can find, what do you think? x

    Answer:
    Hi
Just wanted to say that dress looks lovely.
I would look for a grey pashmina to put over your shoulders and look for a chunky beaded bangle....
Sorry not much help. But I would avoid a belt and think a cardi might make it look less dressey?
