:wave: I'm wearing a top similar to this one but with a smaller pattern to a wedding with black wide leg trousers. What shoes and accessories would you wear?

edited to add - do you think this with black trousers is OK for a wedding?? I went round loads of shops at the weekend and couldn't find anything, I don't really suit dresses. I'm a size 12, 5 ft 4 in case that makes any difference!

i think white skinnies and sum strappy or round toed heels would luk rly nice..if ur prepared to go against the black trousers....more 'weddingish' IYSWIM...however, if ur set on the black trousers i would go for sum high strappy sandals so ur shoes make a bit of a statement and ull look glam enuff if ur goin to the reception after???
regarding a bag...mmm I' d add a glitzy black clutch also as the top already has enuff bright colour going on me thinks

I think American Apparal and Topshop always have backless tops in, actually the AA ones are quite low on the back but not totally backless. More of a scoop neck..(or scoop back :D ).

I wasn't getting much luck in the careers section so i thought i'd try here. Is anyone here a fashionbuyer or knows about the job. I'm leaving skool and am thinking about becoming a fashion buyer but i want to know what it's lyk. What type of things do you have to do, the hours and pay, stuff lyk that. Any information whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. xxx

It's a great job. A friend does it and has a degree in textiles/business. Lots of travel, pay pretty good.

It is a great job but very,very demanding. Pay is excellent and there is alot of travel involved. It's not as glamorous as many people think!!
I dont know if there are specific courses you can do, the only way I know of is to work your way up the ranks beginning with working on a shopfloor to get a real feel for the commercial side of the business.
There are two main types of buying - developmental buying (like in Primark) or else working in a department store and ordering from pre designed ranges of the brands they stock.

Theres a huge range of courses you can do in fashion, but I'm not sure of specific courses you can do in fashion buying. Have a look on UCAS if your interested in doing a course, it would be a great start.

Got these from TS today after much deliberation
I'd probably wear them more in the evening to bars etc. On top I'll wear a plain black ribbed vest. But I'm not sure what shoes would go with them.
Could I get away with my gold Aldo Copas? If I were to wear chuky gold chain and bangle with it? Or should I stay away from gold?
Any suggestions welcome.
