Advice about ebay feedback?
:wave: I bought a dress off ebay which is supposed to be layered silk chiffon, it's a black inner slip with a multicovered dress shell to go over that.
Thing is, she sent me the dress shell (which is lovely) with a polyester slip, which isn't long enough for the dress:cmdunno:
I emailed her about it and she responded on wednesday, to say she will look for the black silk slip as she must still have it, but I haven't heard anything since.
Would I be pushy to email again today? And if she doesn't send the original slip, should I give neutral or negative feedback?
I've never had a problem with ebay before and have always been happy with the stuff I've bought, so I'm not sure what to do here! Any advice would be great.

Hi you have paid for something and you have the right to contact them until they fix the problem!
I think you should call her. You can get the number from ebay.
On the homepage on the right hand said click on advanced search.
Then on the left hand side click on find contact information.
Then enter the user id and the item number and ebay will email you their contact info BUT they will get your contact info too.
Its better to speak to the person and get it sorted. Then if you are not happy with that, you can leave the feedback you think is suitable. Bare in mind they can respond to the feedback you leave on the same page.

It sounds like she is aware that she didn't send you the original. What did the picture and description show - do you think it was the original slip? If so, then she hasn't provided the goods as described.
If you really like the dress, it might be worth trying to locate a matching slip yourself (could be a PITA though). If not, I think I'd be asking her for a full refund?
See how she responds before deciding on feedback.

Thanks for the advice, I've emailed her one last time, but have had her contact details emailed to me, just in case. Feedback can wait until this is resolved.
I don't think it would be easy to get a replacement slip as the original is silk chiffon - not sure where silk chiffon slips are sold - so I hope she comes through with the goods!!:cmdunno:

You could try the usual high street store websites (DP, TS, Miss S, Warehouse etc) - there are usually discount codes in the discount thread and, as the sales are on at the moment, you might be able to get a leather bag within your budget.
Alternatively, might be worth searching on eBay as there are usually bargains to be had with people having clear-outs.

I bought a leather hobo bag in the Gap sale for £16.99 on Friday, it comes in deep chocolate and a rich reddish brown. They also had plain black leather barrel bags for £19.99.

We have this kind of policy at work. It means the men don't wear ties with their shirts suits :rolleyes:
For women, it generally means smart skirt or trousers, with a smartish top (but not necessarily a blouse). Dresses are fine, too. Just office wear, really - not jeans, casual trousers, etc.
I guess if you dressed like you were headed to work in an office, that's the kind of thing they're after. Might be worth phoning to check though - you don't want to be uncomfortable at the concert.

Something like wide-legged trousers and a wrap top - as someone else said not necessarily a shirt.
You could team it with wedges instead of courts to make it slightly more casual.

Its ok - I wouldn't normally choose it but you can't moan as its free!
The style is nice - tie side bottoms and ruched bandeau top with option of thin halterneck tie too.
Not sure about the quality the feel makes me think I would itch a bit!
