Buying too much stuff and not wearing them enough?

NO.1. Ask :
Buying too much stuff and not wearing them enough?
I reallised that I buy so much stuff that I don't get around wearing all of it! Does it happen to any of you as well? I mean, I love shopping and I like having new stuff but sometimes I have a feeling that most of it gets worn only a couple of times because I have too many, and I still love all my old stuff! I can wear whatever I want for work and I do wear all my clothes but if I think of the cost per wear theory it doesn't look very good :o
Anyone else with the same problem?
Answer:
I used to be like that, now I usually buy stuff with an occasion (even if it's a trip to the local pub!!) in mind.
It'd be different if I could dress up for work, I'd buy new stuff all the time.
Answer:
That's my 'problem', I can really dress up for work if I want to and I do
I just have sooo much stuff!
Answer:
I used to be like that too but now i think very carefully about if i will actually wear something before keeping it.
I do my OH's head in with the amount of stuff i return after thinking about purchases :o
Answer:
I wish I was that disciplined Cat! :cmeek:

  • O/T - Region of a DVD?

    NO.2. ask :
    O/T - Region of a DVD?
I was selling a DVD on Ebay and someone e-mailed me asking the Region?

I know it's something to do with where it can be played? But it doesnt say anything about it anywhere on the DVD, what Region is it if I know it plays in the UK?

    Answer:
not much help but i know Region 1 is america which means that if the DVD was region 1 your dvd player would have to be too. I think Region 2 is in the UK.
    Answer:
on the back of the case there will be a little globe symbol with a number in, and that number is the region. UK DVDs are region 2.
    Answer:
There is a little glossy symbol that has a world image in the background with 2, 4 and PAL under it, would that be it?

    Thanks Girls.

    I'll just say region 2 ;)

    Thankyou!
    Answer:
    That's it, regions 2 and 4!x

    NO.3. ask :
    What have you rediscovered?
After wearing dresses constantly throughout Winter i've started wearing my skinnies again and love 'em! So much that i've ordered a pair of cropped ones to wear throughout summer :yay:
    What have you 'rediscovered' lately?
    Answer:
I'm with you Cat, I'm back in my skinnies (I've been turning them up) I'm looking for some nice cropped ones.
    Answer:
A few things; a high waisted denim skirt I bought about a year ago that I thought looked silly now looks very 'now';)

Also, a silk chiffon bib front navy blouse with a tie back, which I'm wearing today. Its really pretty, and I can't believe I'd forgotten about it.
Also, a pair of red round toe brogue-ish patterned (IYSWIM!) platforms from Topshop, bought 3 years ago and now looking v nice with my indigo skinnies.

Finally, I've started embracing all things girlie; the masculine look and blacks and greys just don;t suit me so I'm loving pastels, brights and pretty patterns. (not that dissimilar to the sundresses I wore when I was about 5!)
    Answer:
    Hi!
I am still very much into my cute city shorts and find myself wearing them instead of skirts/trousers with suit blazers/jackets
    ;)
    Answer:
Pretty boring but I've rediscovered my basic tees vests! ;) Don't get me wrong, I love my prints but I'm loving simple outfits atm with statement jewellery cute pumps :heartpop:

    Office attire?
I'm more than slightly fed up with what i have to wear to work at the moment. I only seem to have suit type trousers that are either too tight for me or too long (yes, i'm a short ass too!!). I've had all my summer work tops for years and even though i have loads in my wardrobe i'm either sick of the sight of them or i don't feel comfotable in them.
So, with it being payday next week i'm thinking i might treat myself to some work clothes but i'd really like to be able to get stuff that i can wear at home too without looking too formal. I'm not going to have loads of money to spend in the slightest but i'm just fishing for some ideas. If i can get some ideas, i might be able to search for it and find something on ebay pherhaps. :o Who knows!
Whats everyone wearing to work at the moment and has anyone got any cheap ideas for me???
    All answers muchly appreciated :D
    Thanks girls,
    Al
    Answer:
    *bump*
    Answer:
I tend to wear plain tops and make it more interesting by adding jewellery, or cardigans in more interesting colours or with little details.
DP do a good range of cheap, basic tops as do Primark. They both have good ranges of accessories too :)

    Army shade Green - Dress
I have had a halter neck dress for a while never had much use, going to Sister In Laws tonight so just going casual, thought i would wear it over jeans but with a top underneath to make it more casual.
Just cant think what colour would go with a dark green shade?
    Thanks
    Answer:
I would wear anything under it, rather a little (perhaps cropped) unbuttoned cardigan over it? Lots of colours go with dark green, but I am a big fan of white!
    Answer:
navy blue , black, cream , lilac, pale pink
