Hmmm I'm intrigued

NO.1. Ask :
Hmmm I'm intrigued
I've just had a message from my friend to arrange to meet up as she has news that I wont' approve of but would appreciate a non judgemental reaction...:
I'm thinking its along the lines of 'dating a married man' or similar as she's that sort of girl really whilst at college she slept with her tutor she's also slept with a director of her company.
She's generally a bit mad and a bit of a risk taker whereas I am not AT ALL which is why she'll think I won't approve.
the only other thing I can think of is we met a rather mad man who has taken a shine to her and it could be something to do with him also...
as I say I am intrigued!!!
Answer:
Interesting:uzzle:
Answer:
don't worry when I find out I'll tell you all...she's anonymous here after all and everyone likes a good goss.
Answer:
Maybe she'd like her personal business kept private?
Answer:
if she asked me not to tell anyone I wouldn't.

Do they undergo any customer training? Not one has ever offered help but completely ignored all customers and just chatted among themselves. In my own experience of course ;) And when you do ask for their help, it's given rather begrudgingly.
    Answer:
The girl that served me in VW in Selfridges couldn't have been more attentive, I guess it varies from branch to branch.
    Answer:
Sorry, didn't mean the concessions, though the Selfridges ones outside London are really nice.
    Answer:
Yes, I agree but the Asian girl usual is quite helpful, but the rest of them .............. Sometimes they just have to remeber that without us shopping in there they won't have job.
    Answer:
I also experienced this a few weeks ago (Conduit Street branch) and left without buying anything because of it (although I really wanted a silver orb locket:throb: ).
The girl turned away from me before I had finished asking for the size in the shoes I wanted and I had to practically chase her. Then she came back with the wrong colour (a horrible yellow/lime) as if I would want them instead of the red I asked for - no mention of trying them for size or anything. Then when my toe poked out the peeptoe-y bits she said they were like that for everyone, but imo it looked very strange:confused:
Even Mr Dots felt put out, and he is hardly ever bothered by this kind of stuff.

There's a pair of Chloe wedges I love in the NAP sale, they're in stock in my size, so far so good. However on they're on the UK site at £259, nipping over to the US site I see they're $345 (about £171). I don't think Chloe are any less popular in the US, I'm confused. For that much difference I'm seriously thinking of having them shipped to my friend in California and getting her to send the to me. Alternatively I could call NAP and UK and quiz them about the difference, can someone post the UK Customer Service number for some unknown reason I can only acces the US website at work, it won't let me change to the UK
    Answer:
the US sale is already on their second round of reductions
last year in the christmas sales i bought a pair of chloé wedges for $246, free shipping and then the website got a bit confused and SUBTRACTED the shipping from the total so it took care of the customs fees too :D the same pair was still £370 on the uk site :faint:
    Answer:
So, does that mean that I can order from the US site and get it delivered to UK and may get away with it due to the exchange rate? Or do you reckon I will have to get it deliver to a different address:lol:
    Answer:
i think that was a one off  but you can order off the US site and it'll give you the customs charges when you check out so you'll know if you want to go ahead.

Where is the best place to buy SB jeans online? I'm after some indigo Misfits as I love my black ones so much but there's nowhere down here that sells them
I'm also after some indigo highwaisted flares, like the TS K jeans but in indigo - but of course I can't find any  Has anyone seen any please?
I'm having a beast with my internet connection at the moment so I probably can't log back on for a few days but thank you in advance to any lovely baggers who do post a reply :D
    Answer:
my-wardrobe have indigo misfits in the sale. Most sizes too
    Answer:
    how about Revolve ?
    Answer:
Thank you both  I'm still to find a pair of flares on the high street so I may fork out the £155 for the J Brand pair that I really want :cmdunno: That's a helluva lot for a pair of jeans though isn't it?
    Answer:
Have you tried NAP Toosh for the Misfits?
I'm all for expensive jeans purely because they last me so long and I find the fit and cut is superb once you get the right ones for you!

    Replica bag sites?
    Hi
I'm a bit of a lurker on her, but I've been looking recently for a replica Chanel here (probably the 2.55) and was wondering if anyone could recommend where I could get one from, seeing as Designer Lines seems to have shut down.
I've had a look on , which seems to be quite good - I don't know if anyone's used them or not? I'm only a student though and they look a bit too expensive, so does anyone know of a similar, but cheap (and reputable) site?
Also, is there much chance of picking one up in one of the London markets? I went to Camden a while ago and they seemed to have a lot of Marc Jacobs copies. Or will they all just look like cheap market stall stuff?
    Thanks for the help :)
    Answer:
Generally speaking, I would try for replica bags. Can be a bit hit and miss though and not with the same protection as ebay so be careful. Its taking a chance to buy any replica bag, the sites come and go as obv its illegal to sell them.
    Do Lush do anything similar??
