I remember hearing about some stiletto heel protector things ages ago that prevented heels from sinking into grass. They were like a transparent tip that went over the bottom of the stiletto heel and gave a wider base so that you were less likely to sink into the grass. Not the most attractive of things, but they didn't look too noticeable when on the shoe.
Does anyone know what these are called? I am having a nightmare doing a search for them because they are so difficult to describe. Thanks :)

Do you mean ? They're a US company but the website says they'll ship internationally if you contact them. Can't think of anyone else who do these heel protectors.
They're defo not the most attractive thing but it's a good idea. Not fully convinced on them to be honest.

Not them tho unfortunately. I think I'm having the trouble finding them because they are so hard to describe.
They look like a small transparent plastic disc that goes onto the base of the stiletto heel, making the heel circumference wider so that it doesn't sink into the grass. A bit like pink doughnut's second link buut with a round disc attached to the bottom.
I think I should give this up and buy some flats (I'm off to a wedding that involves grass - walking on it mind!!!!) Isn't it hard when something is difficult to describe, that's why I'm having no luck with google!!

I`ve seen these advertised in the back of magazines, they looked like a cleaver idea but I think they might be stupid in practise (like large tiddlywinks to your shoes). I think flats or wedges might be the better alternative.

Nike ID is the system where you can "design" your own trainers - so here are mine:
They're not quite as shiny IRL and they're a fab khaki/brown colour. I'm really pleased with them :D :yay:

My boyfriend got some last year. They are the most hideous things I've ever seen! He made them bright blue, acid yellow and bright orange! He gets funny looks all the time when he wears them! Hahaha! I tried doing some for myself, but they turned out too pink and purple to actually buy. :lol:
