Why is it that everything on the UK website seems to be double the price of what i paid in Canada 6 months ago??:cmdunno:
Has anyone been to the new store yet? I've seen it get slated in the papers etc for the "tackyness" but thats the style the shops are in the US really. I love the tops, they're great basics to have in the wardrobe on days when i just don't know what to wear, and the hoodies are great for throwing over things and training in so was really excited about it coming to the UK but the website seems to bloody expensive.
    Anybody thinking that same??
    Answer:
Its a total rip off (that I have fallen for)

I cant access the American site now though :( It just goes direct to the UK one.

The stuff is selling out though.....

It's been open a few weeks now, but nobody seems to know about it either, so not very good advertising.

    House Party Outfit
    Hey girlies

Can someone advice me on what to wear to a house party Im going to tonight? I have it narrowed down to 4 outfits but picking one is a bit of a nightmare.

    Choices are:

Dark Pink Flowy vest top, dark jeans, platform sandals and turquoise earings (think Cameron Diaz when she wore pink and turquoise)

A black wrap dress with small purple flowers, wedges, and hoop earrings

A strappy graphic print jersey dress over skinny jeans with wedges.

A black button back collared style short sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans and mega high platforms.

There are more choices but I darent start thinking of them as they wil make the decision even harder. There will be loads of people at the party so I want to stand out but not in a bad way if you know what I mean?

    Opinions will be much appreciated.xxxxxxxxxx
    Answer:
got any pics of the outfits? im not v gd at picturing them in my head:lol:
    Answer:
I love house parties. Haven't been to one in ages, though.
My favourite outfit is the first one, followed by 4, 3 then 2, in order of preference.
    Answer:
My choice would be the first outfit... although I am a little spooked out that my order of preference is also exactly the same as casablancas!
First is definitely my fave :)

    Emergency wedding help!!
Ok girls I have a major problem, I have been invited to a wedding in 10 days time (I don't think it coud be any more short notice! ) and I have absolutley no idea what to wear.
It is a Muslim wedding so I will need to have my shoulders covered, no cleavage and the dress will need to be at least knee length. If the dress is strapless then thats not a problem as I can always wear a pashmina or shrug or something.
My budget is about £100-£120 for the dress and £40-60 for shoes/clutch. I am 5"7.5, olive skin, curly auburn hair which is about bra length, brown eyes, size 6/8 and size 32C boobs.
Thank all for your help in advance :)

    Answer:
    Hello :)
I think a maxi dress would be a really nice idea - i love from topshop - it would look gorgeous with gold accessories and wedges, and a shrug of some sort, and the green would look lovely with your skin tone.
I quite like this from warehouse too, they do it in both silver and gold and i think it looks really nice and wedding-ish. Theres loads of maxi dresses about lately anyway ! So im sure you could find one you really like! Sorry im not much more help :cmdunno:
    Answer:
Have you got a local Indian / Pakistani community near to where you live ? It's worth taking a trip there to look at the clothing shops and ask their advice - tell them what it's for and see what they suggest. I'm sure they will happily advise you.
You could get a nice top and loose trousers (salwar kameez) well within your budget which with the current fashion trends for kaftans you can wear again.
    Answer:
Thanks for the links sammeh I should have said that I dont do maxi dresses the length just doesnt suit me :cmdunno:
Greek Teeth I like your idea of getting a shalwar kameez but i'm not asian so would feel silly wearing one and the family whose wedding it is are arab so it would look a bit strange wearing asian dress at an arab wedding.
I like the idea of getting a prom style dress, i've had a look at the ones on the warehouse website something like this would be too much cleavage:
but something like this would be ideal, except i dont like the material:
i'm really fussy :o but thank you so much for your help ladies :)

    Online grocery shopping
For those who do their grocery shopping online, does anyone know of sites that gives codes for free delivery, particularly for Tesco? Thanks.
    Answer:
Not free delivery but you can usually find £5 off £50 spend at
    or the discount forum of
    HTH :)
    Answer:
Hey Arish, hotukdeals is the only one I know of. I can't see any free delivery codes but there's quite a few money off codes on this page which might work out the same as what you'd pay for delivery :)
ETA: Ooops, posted at the same time Cat
    Answer:
I get Tesco codes from here:
There used to be some great deals around - 1000 points on £70 spend (which is equivalent to £40 in Clubcard deals) but they've really clamped down. You should always be able to get £5 (or 500 clubcard points) off a £50 shop though.
I've stopped using Tesco tbh as their delivery/shopping service was so bad. There'd always be stuff missing, expired products etc. It got to the point where we complained every week about something. Plus, I object to spending £70+ and still having to pay delivery
So now we just use Ocado. I still spend the same amount each week so I obviously just buy less. My basket gets to a certain amount and I start getting rid of all the expensive junk food
