Black floppy linen pants??????
NO.2. ask :
Black floppy linen pants??????
doesn't sound complicated does it ;) - I'm at my wits end. I'm looking for linen type (not necessarily 100% linen) floppy trousers - I'm a size 12 5" 7' and they need to be full length. Has anybody seen anything recently matching this description?
Thanks

Answer:
Is this the kind of thing?
They come in varied leg lengths too so should be long enough.
I think Primark usually do this kind of thing too.
Answer:
Primark is a good bet, they always bring them out every summer :)
Answer:
Another vote for Primark. They had loads in store last week in different lengths. I have a 32 inside leg and the long ones are plenty long enough:cool:
Answer:
I bought the Primark ones last year and they've gone straight into the charity bag this year...they lose their shape and fit terrible imo. I've just bought a pair of linen/cotton mix from George @ Asda which I'm hoping may keep their shape better!
O/T books
NO.3. ask :
O/T books
sorry for the O/T but I am sure a few fashion baggers have mentioned selling books on Amazon, hence asking here. I have some I want to sell and I am wondering if Amazon or Ebay is the best way? for baggers that do sell books on Amazon is the turn over quick or do you have to hold onto it for ages with an envelope in the hope it sells?
thanks in advance
Answer:
I *think* geek_kitten has mentioned selling books before. It may be an idea to PM her.
I'm no use as I can't bear to part with my books which is why they've taken over my flat
Answer:
I've sold books on amazon, it can take a while but depends on the book and the price you ask for it. Green Metropolis allows you to sell books too, I think?
Answer:
I used to sell CDs and DVDs on Amazon and it was pretty easy, particularly with the more popular films/bands. There were some that didn't sell for a while but I wasn't in a major hurry to sell.
Everything did get sold eventually. You do have to be pretty honest about the condition of the item you're selling and be very aware of what other people are selling the same item for as you've got to be careful not to overprice (or underprice for that matter). The one downside is that you can't post pictures of the item.
I only sold about three or four books, and gave up as the postage didn't cover me as I stupidly offered to sell to mainland Europe and the rest of the world and sold my heaviest books too.
I'd recommend it personally but if you're in a hurry to sell and the book(s) isn't a bestseller, just be prepared to either wait a bit or reduce your price a little.
Hope this helps.
Answer:
Arietty asked the same question a little while ago, which I replied to - should be a few pages back.
I sell a bit of stuff on Amazon - if it's textbooks, be warned that that can be very seasonal - I sold a lot in the autumn term (start of the new academic year, clearly), and then hardly anything. In total, over about six months I've probably made around £150 or so, so not a huge amount, but better than a poke in the eye with a wet kipper!

Help me get this bag!
NO.4. ask :
Help me get this bag!
I want this bag.
But when I try and add it, the quantity field just says 'Unavailable'
Does that means its sold out?
If so they shoud take it down and not get my hopes up!!:cmdunno:
Answer:
It usually means they've put it on but it won't be 'released' for a few days.
They do this sometimes on Miss S and Topshop and a few days later it's available :)
Answer:
Oh yay thanks!
Theres still hope :)
Answer:
Ohhh thats lovely! I want it!
This Laura Ashley Bag?
NO.5. ask :
This Laura Ashley Bag?
I know, I know Laura Ashley isn't exactly cutting edge, but I've found this leather tote which I think is very pretty, stylish etc;
I'm also liking the recommisioned archive collection too;
=
Maybe it's because my mum kitted me out in Laura Ashley as a child, but I might have to get some of the archive tops just for the fabric; the top above is in the same material my fave summer dress (when I was 5!) was in:o :D
Am I weird?!
Answer:
i dint like that bag really , bit old:o
Answer:
LR you're not odd! (or maybe we both are! ) I've ordered heaps of stuff from the LA archive collection. :o
I think probably because the prints bring back happy memories too!
I've ordered these:
I don't even suit mustard/yellow so I don't know what posessed me to order the maxi dress but I just love it so much! I don't know if I'll keep any of it, but I just wanted to see what it was like!
Oh and I'm not keen on the bag I'm afraid. :cmdunno:
Answer:
Not a huge fan of the bag, I like the TS ones you posted earlier. :)
Answer:
I like the bag, maybe I am old!
I think it's becuase of all these detailed bags around, I'm just desperate for something simple? I need a big tote for uni, that's leather so I may get it!
Popoki, I love all that stuff you've ordered. It's like vintage only new (iyswim) and a less contrived way of wearing retro imo.
I have a store local to me (although I phoned and they don't have the bag, so i'll have to order!) and i want to have a good old look next week at all the archive stuff; as I spent my childhood in it. (In fact my mum would wear a Laura A top and I would wear the matching dress:o of which there is far too much photographic evidence!).
I think my style is quite old really, I like simple stuff with an old fashioned feel:o
