All Saints question

All Saints question
I love this skirt:
Tried on a size 12 but it was a bit too small, could do with a 14 but there's none in my local concession and none on the website. Anyone know if All Saints can do a stock check in certain stores, and would they post the item or transfer between stores?
Am desperate! Thanks!
Answer:
:cmdunno: anyone...?
Answer:
It's only been 13 minutes since you posted and it's a Sunday, not many people are around
Have you tried to see if it's on Asos or maybe phone and ask the store tomorrow?
Answer:
Sorry, just got 114 views and no replies, suppose I'm just a bit impatient - keep getting bloomin' 'operation aborted' messages on this site too so it's doing my head in!!
Have tried ASOS and it's not on there. However, have found the contact details on the site so will give them a buzz tomorrow - thanks!
Answer:
Not 13 minutes, my eyes saw 10pm  Perhaps I should remember not to go without sleep!
I think my sister got bomber jacket transferred. I say she got it transferred but it never actually materilaised but it can be done

    FAO PiP - retro hair/makeup...
Remembered that you asked me to post pics of it. Basically my hair has been layered with a sweeping fringe, and I curled it with tongs.
First I used my Lily Lolo mineral powder and some concealer to create a good, even base. Then I applied pale pink/gold shadow on lids (MAC Expensive Pink), black liquid liner flicked out and, after curling lashes, lots of mascara, cherry red lips (MAC Dubonnet with a Rimmel lipliner that is fab, and really longlasting!) and a sheer pink blush (this really made the look, I just tried it out and it really pulled lips and eyes together and stopped it being flat).
I would have liked to do an even more 40s look with "rolls" in my hair but that's going to take a lot more practice! My hair is very stubborn and never does what I want it to....
    Answer:
    Looks fantastic Naz!
Don't know if you've come across this site, but they have loads of information on retro hair/makeup - and a forum for retro fashion too.
    Answer:
Wowzers! :faint: You look absolutely stunning Naz, I love the whole look.
I was searching for silk flower hair slides this weekend, inspired by you but there were none to be had :boohoo:
I hope you had a great time at your party?
Thanks for the link pops the site looks fab.
    Answer:
You are one gorgeous lady, Naz :heyhey:
    Answer:

Pops thanks for the link - I've just found a thread about lazy vintage hair styles which is just what I was looking for!
There are some good tutorials on rolls here too:

What does everyone think to this skirt by Ted Baker- it is half price in the sale and I am thinking of getting it :)

I am thinking of wearing it nightime when I go out during this summer, what sort of shoes and accessorizes do you think would go?

I have a really pretty cute lacey cardigan do you think that would suit or would it look too much?

    Thanks Kiki x
    Answer:
I think it's ok... not brilliant... but that could be down to the way they've dressed it up in that photo... makes it look awful.
Not too big on the colour though, think I would prefer it darker.
    Answer:
Im really sorry but im not at all keen on the colour or the bow makes me think of something id have worn when i was 5, in a darker colour and without the bow it would be nicer.
maybe plainish wedges and some simple beads would look nice ?
you could always buy its and if you dont like it send it back,
    Pacha x
    Answer:
    Not for me, I'm afraid
    Answer:
    I like it! :)
Cant think of how to wear it right now though, I have something similar I always struggle to wear! Saying that, maybe you'd be best spending your monet on something thats easier to wear?
My work pc's really crap so pictures never look right, but I think it could look good to wear during the day in summer with plain flip flops and a simple vest top, that generally what I do with my one. I can see it looking quite cute in winter with some ugg style boots or chunky boots and some form of tights/leggings (I would say grey but the colour is really bad on my monitor so not sure how the colours would work!) and thin layered tops in a sort of slouchy style?

    washing havaianas
Hello again, its been ages since I've posted, been very busy with work and had no time to bag, hope everyone is good.
Can back from holiday sat morning and although I had a wicked time, my new gold and cream slim hav's are pretty dirty looking from the dusty streets.
I was wondering if people have washed their hav's in the machiene :cmdunno: or have any other suggestions for me to get them clean again as I've only worn them a couple of times on holiday :boohoo:
    Many thanks
    PhotoC
    Answer:

    NO.5. ask :
    Which Year?
If there was another year you could've been the age you are now, when would it have been?
I'd have liked to have been 25 in 1966 so I could've worn fabulous clothes, listened to great music and see England win the world cup :yay:
    Answer:
I think I would have liked to have been the age I am now (32) in 1975 so that I would have been in my late teens twenties in the sixties.
    Answer:
I would have been my age now (29) in late 1950s America. I would have been just like Doris Day in the films with Rock Hudson. I love the clothes, the music, the furniture everything
    Answer:
    2040 so I could be 22 now :D
