Which ones do you have? im umming and aahing over the tall classic eva sole or the tall ultimate. I just cant decide. i want them to last a few years at least as im using some of my 21st birthday money to buy them and generally i dont spend this much on a pair of boots (i know cheapskate!). Just wanna make sure i get the right thing. Just after some experiences really of these shoes.

I have the tall ultimates. I went for them as they are sturdy and I wanted them to last more than a couple of winters. They're great, they have extra protection on the heel so they won't sag over to one side, and protection on the toes to make sure they don't dent (like my old ones did) I want another pair now!

I bought them last winter and they still look new.
The whole branded UGG thing is a rip off. Ugg is a type of boot just a wellies are a type of boot. Uggs without the big brand name have been around for years and years. As long as you get a good boot that are 100% sheepskin they will be every bit, and maybe a bit better than UGG:)
ETA Order a size up for kiwis-I'm a UK 5 so ordered a US 6. There's a size conversion chart on the site.

I found an amazing shirt dress in HM - white with red and black pinstripes.
but...It's just too see-through to wear without a slip.
because it has buttons the slip needs to be mid thigh length rather than knee length.
The ones on MS's website say knee length - but are they really?

So much is said about style and fashion and how it is linked to beauty today. Take Kate Moss- she is an icon soley because of the way she dresses :faint:
I was having a conversation with a (male) friend the other day and he said that he wouldnt be able to tell if what a girl was wearing was fashionable or not and that he didn't care. He said that as long as the face and body are alright then the clothes dont really matter. Do you think thats true?
I mean I can sort of see his point- if a really pretty slim girl was dressed averagedly compared with an average looking one in the latest fashions I think the pretty girl would win out!

To some extent yes, but I think in general men see the overall package rather than the details, women will generally notice those. For instance, I have very dark hair and pale skin so I suit red, my ex always complimented me when I wore a red top but I'm sure he couldn't have told you what I was wearing, even though he liked clothes and dressed quite well.
I do think about how I look when choosing clothes particularly for a night out/date. I emphasise the good bits and disguise the bad bits. I think again men will notice the overall look but won't think "oh she's wearing bootcut jeans, who wears those now!" :lol:

I don't think most men 'get' or notice women's clothing the way that other women do.
IMO they only notice things that accentuate good features e.g. tight jeans that show off a great bum. They probably couldnt say what colour they were, or what style - they just notice the great ass!! :lol:
I also think that a lot of what women wear recently and is considered fashionable is not necessarily popular with men -for example my OH hates smock tops as they don't allow my shape to be seen as easily as something more fitted.

I do think that clothes can make you more attractive as they give an clue to your personality and give and indication to if you are likely to along with someone if you like the way they dress iyswim.
If I saw a gorgeous guy on a night out the way he's dressed can definitely put me off pretty quickly if I don't like his style. Maybe more so when I was younger but even still to some extent now.

I think clothes can definitely flatter parts of you that are not as nice.
I definitely think having good style does make you more attractive though because its all about wearing what suits your body shape.
