I have fallen in love with the MJ052 sunnies in Purple on the MJ site (would post link, but its a flash website so..). Does anyone know of any websites selling MJ sunnies?

Hello all
I am off to a black tie ball in a couple of weeks and am looking for a dress to wear. I have a very specific style in mind, navy blue halterneck, and it must be long. I'm not too fussed about the material, possibly satin or silk. My budget is not huge, probably up to about £200.
I'm shopping in Birmingham at the weekend, so if anyone has any ideas where I might be able to find a dress like this, I'd be so grateful.

They have a gorgeous dress in HM - it's only £10 right now, but looks more expensive. It's an electric/cobalt blue rather than navy, but it's silky, hits me (about 5'6) at mid shin and is halterneck. You probably want something a bit more expensive, but it might be worth a look.

1 Attachment(s) OK, well I'm A 5'2.5" girl, with 34B boobs (i'm a size 8 or 10) and I have a severe issue with tops. I find that i look stupid in tops that aren't long, so if they go to the top of my jeans and stop there, i get stressed and take them off, so i usually buy long vest tops, dresses, tunics, etc etc...
however i have one top which is one of these tops like the one in the attatchment (in black) and i love it, but i feel it makes my boobs look out of proportion and makes me look short...is this just my imagination do you reckon, or is it true?

As someone 5ft and 34b and size 8 im not too far off your size although shorter.
If your like me that neckline would do no favours and I would feel like its choking me.
V necks are better on me to open out the neckline and make my neck look longer.

Impossible to tell without seeing it on you really; depends on body shape. I'm much the same size (about an inch and a half taller!), and those style of tops suit me well.

I am exactly the same all my tops have to cover my jeans otherwise i cant stand it, even if it just skims them...and i hate not being able to wear certain things :mad:

I am so excited about this weekend :yay: so hope I can be forgiven for starting this thread so early :D .
Feels like my weekend started last night with a very big, very drunken and very silly birthday dinner with Ibiza boy and his mates. It's only Wednesday and my tummy's already rejecting alcohol!!!
Tonight I'm meant to be going to a Miami Vice themed BBQ with the City Of London police, but think I'm going to have to give it a miss, not least because I've totally forgotten any form of fancy dress.
Tomorrow night I'm having dinner at a friends' then we're going to see The Maccabees do a private gig in Camden :yay: followed by the after party and much drunkeness which would usually be a disaster on a school night, but I'm not working on Friday :yay: :yay: :yay: . Am going to wear, pale blue and white fine stripe blouse with big frilled rounded collar and huge white and gold buttons, dark denim high waisted hotpants, black opaques and white patent vintage peeptoes.
Friday I'm going to be nursing my sore sore head then popping to Spa NK for pre holiday Brazilian and pampering. Will be mostly wearing a fluffy robe and slippers :lol: . Then at four o'clock, Ibiza boy's going to knock off early and I'm driving us down to Henley for his birthday treat. We're going to stop off at a couple of pubs we like on the way down, then we're having dinner and staying here . It's meant to be yummy, so I'm going to be wearing something forgiving - probably the Warehouse silk mini dress with bare legs and grey elevators.
Saturday morning, we're going to get up as late as we can for a full english, then we're going to go for a walk along the river and pop into Henley for tea and cakes before driving back a Londres. Think I'll wear my black Sass and Bide skinnes, grey vintage boots, white Chloe broderie anglaise blouse and black and gold bird necklace unless the weather really improves.
Then it's an early night Saturday night because I'm getting picked up at 0430 to go to Gatwick for my flight to Croatia :yay: :yay: :yay: . I shall mostly be wearing bikinis, playsuits, cut offs, mini dresses and gladiator sandals and accessorising with a tan.

I have no idea what exactly I´ll be up to (or wearing!) but have to post as v.excited, as I will be in Rio for the weekend :yay: I fly tonight - providing my flight hasnt been cancelled after the TAM disaster - so will no doubt spend tomorrow lazing on a beach, getting myself nice and golden for the weekend ahead :D

My weeks quite full on as well.
Last night I went round to a friends house and cooked dinner for us and another couple. I made butter garlic seared steak, ceaser salad, jacket potatoes and mini summer fruits pavlovas for pudding. It was very yummy even if I say so myself. I ended up wearing, black white polkadot wrap dress, white vest, black opaques and dark red pashmina with black overlast mary-janes
Tonight I`m dashing home from work for a legwax, then I`m going to tackle my packing. Then I`m suposed to be meeting a friend for a local drink and collecting some stuff from him to go into my suitcase. I might just wear what I`m wearing today for work, chiffon chocolate cream spot shirt dress with ruffle (primarni one from last year), white cardi, chocolate opaques and chocolate snake slams. Or if my legs are nice and smooth I will change into my demin long shorts, v-neck jumper and tan peeptoes.
Thursday night I`m going to a party straight from work at Chelsea Physic Gardens. Not sure what to wear as all my fav stuff will be packed but I`m thinking smart white linen trousers, Navy scoop neck jumper, Red Navy spot bra (the shoulders on the jumper are quite wide so its best to have pretty straps), big sunnies, gold bangles and gold wedges. I`m thinking a sort of 50s riviera look. Then home for a final buff, fake tan, flat tidy.
Friday morning, I`m packing my cosmetics and finished my case before work (bus plus suitcase is always fun). I will probably wear whatever is bulkyest in my case, so far I`m thinking of the very retro (about 5 years) outfit of white gypsy skirt, white T shirt, Emerald velour Juciey hoodie, indigo denim jacket, bronze havs. Friday night, touch wood I should be in Spain:clap: :whoop: depending on what time Monarch deside to get me there. So I will hopefully get into my flat by 9ish and have time to unpack before a late dinner in the village and drinks in the port chiringito. So depending on the weather I think it will probabaly be my white ruffle shirt and chocolate linen trousers as I will be pale compared to everyone else.
Saturday Sunday will be supermarket, beach, and more of the above:p
