    Urgent HELP please!!
    Hi all,
I bought ma mulberry emmy last Saturday, it was half price in the sale and i've wanted one for ages. I have never spent anywhere near that much money on anything before, fashion wise!
Anyway i went out to the deli at lunch yesterday with my bag, and the heavens opened! Its ruined...rain stains all over. I had no idea you couldn't take it in the rain. There was no swing ticket or information to tell me this.
I called House of Fraser, as i got it from the Mulberry concession there, and she said that they verbally tell all their customers about the rain stains, and that the receipt is stapled to something that says they cant do anything about rain damage. So firstly...she never told me anything over the counter, it was a Saturday..very busy. Secondly, my receipt is here in front of my and its not stapled to anything!
She asked me to ring back in 30 minutes when the manager is back, but now i feel all sheepish and silly. They make you feel like you are lying! I'm so gutted!
What do you guys suggest i say/do?
    Answer:
Just tell them no-one told you not to take it out in the rain. Also that you obviously wouldn't have taken it out in the rain had you known! Good luck, let us no how u get on chick
    Answer:
Yeah just tell the truth and mention that nothing was stapled to your receipt and that you could show them that as proof

Urgent Wedding Outfit - Help Please
    Hello
I know this should probably go in wedding but it's not stictly a wedding dress.
I'm having a muslim wedding in about 1 month and haven't a clue what to wear.
My OH is algerian so hasn't much idea either about what I could wear. I'm hoping to have a civil ceremony next year and will do the whole wedding dress etc.
So for the moment I need a smart dress which is modest (it needs to cover down to my lower leg , no obvious cleavage on show but glam. I'm tall, size 16/18, 38E boobs, smallish waist, big bum ;) . The panic of having to find a dress in a short timeframe means I've seemed to lost all fashion insight I usually have.
If anyone has any experience could they please point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
    Answer:
What is your budget? I can have a look around for you then :)
    Answer:
I'm quite happy to spend £300 - £400. To be honest it's not the money but more the what to wear that's the problem.
    Thanks
    Answer:
With that budget, you can get a really nice dress. Looking around, there are loads of maxi dresses around and with your height you can definitely pull one off. And as the dress would be floor length it would be very modest too.

    Advice on holiday clothes pleeeeeease
    Hey peeps:wave:

    Just after some advice....

Im off to aussie in November for 3 weeks....:D

Does anyone know what the weather will be like and how hot...and what kind of clothes do you suggest i take for the weather?? is it like the summer here or is it hotter??

i went last year in April/May of which was their winterish weather and was completely pants...

    Thanks very muchly

    :juggle:
    Answer:
    Hi

It will be almost the height of their summer in November so should be fabulously warm and sunny. It really depends on what part you are going to though - where will you be? Generally though it will be alot hotter than in the UK.

You should always pack some warm stuff anyway. I was there last December and there was loads of rain and thunderstorms in Sydney and Melbourne. :boohoo:
    Answer:
    cool.... thanks....

erm...we are hoping to go to Sydney for a bit, travel to Melbourne and then go along the great ocean road and hopefully hit the beach!!

i foolishly took all summer clothes when i went in April/May last time...looked like a silly english tourist in me summer clothes whilst they were in their jumpers etc...:o
    Answer:
any suggestions on what to take on the plane????

nearly killed me spending all the time on the plane, felt really grotty when we landed:cmdunno:

    so far i can think

    handcream
    babywipes
    books
    MP3 player
    neck cushion thingy
    chewing gum

    ....

    Thanks
    Answer:
I would also pack some extra bottles of water (it's a pain in the arse having to keep asking for them!),some moisturiser for your face and lip balm.

The neck cushion as you mentioned is essential!! I can't sleep without one. Most airlines provide you with a little pack with an eye mask and socks etc.

I think you will be safe enough packing mostly summer gear but as I said definitely pack one or two warmer items incase you hit bad weather which could be likely in Melbourne or even Sydney.

    Enjoy your trip! :)
