I've seen a few girls wearing ankle boots similar to the ones pictured below, but they are black and are made of a suedy material and have little holes all over them, does anyone know where they are from?

Im going to a wedding party on the night but dont have a clue what to wear ! I know its not the same as a daytime wedding event, and i dont want to look toooo dressy or tooo as tho im going on a night out in town , so im a bit stuck as to what i can wear. I was thinking of bying this :
and wearing with gold or cream shoes, gold clutch and accessories. Is that a bit much? And if its ok, anyone seen any gold or cream shoes that arent majorly high!!
if not, any ideas of other outfits?

I think gold shoes will be fine with it so long as they are the same shade of gold. When I was looking for pale gold shoes recently, I saw loads of pairs of darker gold shoes so it shouldn't be too difficult. I seem to remember that Zara had some nice ones in that weren't too high.

right I may well be going out on saturday night, the only problem being that I dont do pubs in the summer. I havent been on a night out pubbing/clubbing since the beginning of april, and even then it was a daytime jeans and a top affair. now I'm bricking it for le weekend as I really have NOTHING summer suitable to wear at all. I did get a 2 pairs of V jeans a few months back (dark navy wash and white) but the only other clothes I've bought since christmas are work suits and a dress for a mates wedding. I dont even know what's fashionable for a night out ATM.:eek:

I have probably got time to do a couple of hours shopping straight after work tomorrow, but that's all. I know I could make it to either the debenhams/zara/riverisland side of town or to the topshop/HM and damn all else side but defo wont have time to go to both and there's no other shops I can think of that I could get to. suggestions on what sort of a thing I should be looking at would be extremely grateful girlies. :D

I plan to wear it with these jeans, platform heels and a long gold pendant. I'd certainly wear this outfit to a bar, but probably not a club - am stuck on the club front to be honest!

I'd be tempted to keep it simple and classic, as netti said a simple vest top with jeans and a nice necklace/pendant, killer heels and accessories is a foolproof option. :)

The online sale starts on Saturday at 10am online so you don't need to get up early.
They have been giving out early online VIP slots though. If you have an account then try calling them on 0845 600 7000 and asking if they have any available slots left.

I have seen a pair of grey chunky wedges and I really want them! The only thing is that what with the dire state of the weather, is it worth buying any now? I always think of wedges as a summer shoe and I am not sure if I could get away with wearing them in autumn/winter too? I am trying to get maximum use of the things I buy and I would hate to buy these wedges only to pack them away in a couple of months.
What do you think?

Personally I would say probably not, as I bought two pairs at the start of 'summer' and havent had a chance to wear either yet coz of all the rain. The ones I have are very strappy and quite summery though, so I couldn't really wear them once it goes into autumn, however maybe some styles would carry through to the next season....think it depends what they look like....lol, don't think that was much help was it?!

As much as I think wedge sandles are a summer shoe they do come into fashion every year with small variations. As long as the ones you choose are not too `this season` they could be a good investment for at least a couple of summers. Plus looking on the optomistic side we might have a really good Aug/sept when all the shops will be full of winter stuff and you won`t have any sunshine friendly shoes.
