Where can i get nice wedges

NO.1. Ask :
Where can i get nice wedges
I am going to tenerife in sept and want to bring a pair of nice wedges that will go with every outfit. I would really appreciate others advice on where I can find nice ones? The only ones i have seen are either gold or brown, which wouldnt go with all my outfits!

Thanks!!
Answer:
What is your budget? And what kind of styles colors you're looking for?
Answer:
My budget is about £70. Id thought of white to go with everting or maybe a pewter colour with a wooden heel? Im pretty open about style, as long as they are dressy for clubbing etc.

I really appreciate help on this!

Thanks :)
Answer:
Haven't got any suggestions in particular, but i would recommend looking at office kurt geiger.
You can search on office by colour and on kurt geiger by typing in keywords - so if you are looking for a wedge shoe, type in wedge and it will bring up everything they have at the moment.
Answer:
I've also seen a selection on the topshop website... perhaps try there? Faith should have some too.

    Red platforms
    Hi
I really hope you can help! I'm looking for some red patent platforms, preferably sandals, to go with this dress to wear at my ex's wedding!
All the ones I've tried so far (at aldo) have been far to narrow for my wide feet. Anyone know where else I could try?
I was thinking red shoes bag to go with this but what colour/style hat/headpiece do you think I should go for? I'm only 5'2" so don't think I could carry off anything too big.
    Thanks!!!!!

That is a very elegant, beautiful dress.
Can't help you on the platforms, I'm afraid, but I'd be very careful not to go with anything too clunky. There are some quite slim and delicate platform heels around at the moment. With your (lack of) height (same height as me, actually!) and the elegance of the dress, I think anything chunky would probably be too much.
As for a hat, how about a fascinator? It wouldn't drown your size and I think it would look great with the dress.

I do like those but wasn't sure about the white sole heel with the creamy lace on the dress. What do you think
I really like these but can't find anything similar in red. Do you think they're too chunky anyway?

The dress is gorgeous! Lily Allen at New Look did exactly the same pair in red suede so it may be worth trying to see if they are still around?

    Are sarongs out?
I am going on my holidays soon and have been buying lots of beach stuff latley, mainly from Primark. I have bought a few kaftans as I know they are very 'now' but cant seem to find any sarongs

Are they still fashionable? Does anyone know where I can get a few nice cheap ones?
    Answer:
I don't see why they'd be considered out, I think they're fine. Have you tried accessorize? They usually have a good choice.
    Answer:
I got one last month for 50p from Primark but I saw some lovely ones in TK Maxx, Marks and Sparks and Debenhams.

  • Skinny Jeans

    NO.4. ask :
    Skinny Jeans
When you tried on your first pair of skinnies did you think you looked absolutely atrocious?!
I have kept away from the skinny trend as I love my slim bootcuts and I have another pair of indigo straights that I can tuck into my knee high boots anyway. However I went into Primark and tried on a pair of their grey skinnies and I looked ridiculous! At least I thought I did! I have virtually no hips, not especially chunky thighs but slightly chunkalicious calves. These skinnies made my arse and hips look huge, my thighs like 100year old tree trunks and my calves very slender! I thought maybe it may just be Primarks cut but I tried another pair on in DP's and it was the same!
So I am sticking to my slim fit bootcuts from 7FAMK unless some miraculous pair are found!
    Answer:
Not all skinnies are created the same, some are A LOT more flattering than others. Primark skinnies are an absolutey awful shape on me :cmdunno: but I have a bunch of others which look lovely on.
    Answer:
I'm now a skinny convert.I live in my cheap monday skinnies but a couple of years back when the trend first started and i gave it a try i thought they made my feet look like huge clown feet!
I think the kind of shoes you wear make a difference...They tend to always look great tucked into boots or with ballet pumps but can look terrible with some shoes and trainers.
Also find i have to think more about my whole outfit with the skinnies especially in winter, some tops just don't work somehow.Ended up having to buy lots of new things just to go with them.Oh dear being forced to shop how sad.

  • soles of miu miu shoes?

    NO.5. ask :
    soles of miu miu shoes?
    Hi all
sorry I always seem to be starting new threads to ask something ... but I just got some miu miu double strap mary janes :faint: and they are my first pair of you know expensiveish shoes ... the soles are like sorta suedey? if that makes sense like they're soft and u can make marks in it with ur finger?
The thing is ill prob be wearing these to clubs and things and my mum thinks i should have them soled coz its so thin ... but I dont want to like ruin the style of the shoe!
What do you guys think? Thanks :)
    xxx
    Answer:
your mum is right :D unless my shoes already have a rubber sole (a lot of platforms do) or you're only going to wear them inside where it's dry and clean i always have them soled. my favourite miu mius came with a rubber sole so i was saved the trouble
    Answer:
I've had a thin rubber sole put on all my leather soled shoes. It doesn't show at all when you're wearing them, and they last much better for it. And they give a better grip on a slippery floor!

It just annoys me when I buy a pair of expensive shoes and then have to fork out the extra cost of having the rubber sole put on. Grrrr!!!!
    Answer:
I put rubber soles on all of my leather-soled shoes.
But, more importantly, we need to see PICCIES of your shoes :D
    Answer:
I don't bother with rubber soles for shoes that I know will ony make occasional appearances.
