All Saints mail order - how long does it take?
Hello everyone, :wave: I have a question!
I ordered a skirt from All Saints website three days ago and I still haven't received dispatch email, just order confirmation one. The skirt is not in stock anymore. Does anyone know how long it takes for mail order items to come? Thanks :)

I ordered a skirt one day and it came 2 days later by UPS courier. I got an order confirmation e-mail but no notification of despatch. I think they say delivery normally takes 2 working days. I think it also depends on what time of day you order it.
Which skirt did you order by the way? I ordered the Hitch Mini in washed black, 'tis lush!

Cool! It's different to what I'd probably normally go for but I think it'll look really nice with a vest top and flip flops (if the weather ever gets better that is - if not, will definitely take it on hols!!).

How you look doesnt reflect who you actually are
I'm quite girly looking, like pink (obviously) I've dark blonde hair and I'm petite... people often think I'm much younger than I am usually about 19, stupid, weak and that I must be a real girls girl
when in fact I'm 26 and a married woman!!! :lol: no genius but not exactly 'Jade goody' either and I weight train everyday and I like football and have lots of close male friends...

However, people often consider me confident, looking personality-wise... I don't know if I just carry myself well or what as I'm not really confident in myself how I look and although I'm a person who sticks up for myself and others, I always know, accept say so when I am wrong and I'm always terrified of offending or upsetting anyone.

Occassionally - mainly if I'm dressed very smartly for work in something very conservative like a suit. I don't have to dress properly smart very often so I tend to stick with very safe options of grey suit white shirt and I haven't really found a way of making these outfits still look 'me' - if I had to dress like this more often I would make more of an effort to make them more my own, but as it isn't very often I still feel like a child dressing up in proper grown-ups clothes.
The rest of the time I think how I look does reflect me pretty well. I've always been interested in music - indie and 60s 70s stuff, and I think my clothes are influenced by that - I'm always drawn to things that look retro. On the otherhand, I am also pretty shy with strangers and quite self-conscious of my appearance, so whilst I hate looking just like everybody else, my style is usually still pretty understated as I don't like being looked at.

People tend to think that I'm really stuck up! :lol: This is kind of an ongoing thing though and something that's happened since I was a teenager.
I'm not sure if it's to do with the way that I dress but people seem to get the impression that I'm po-faced, very serious, "clique-y", shallow and completely unfriendly. Nothing could be farther from the truth and people are always surprised when they realise that I'm actually rather foul-mouthed, have a disgusting sense of humour, am really down to earth and freicely loyal to my family and friends. The amount of drunken conversations I've had with people who've told me that they thought I was really unapproachable but that I couldn't be more different. When I first got friendly with my best friend she told me "I thought you were a real pr*ck when I first met you but actually you're wicked" :cmeek: :mad: :lol: Luckily I have about half a dozen really really close friends who seem to love singing my praises! :lol:

I always get people thinking i'm unapproachable or stuck up, when Im really not. I too have had people admitting this to me when drunk, but I have some great friends who know that i'm not so hey ho. Its a bit annoying, but I think it may be due to being quite tall and being fairly well spoken.
I get accused of being posh all the time too, when i'm just normal really. I get my accent from where i grew up, North London, and everyone there seems to speak like me. In cambridgeshire, everyone assumes I'm a bit 'la dee dar' but it's only my voice, every other aspect of me is completely unposh and unrefined!!
I also get people thinking i'm a bit shallow and not very clever (not that i'm a genuis, but not stupid either) because i like makeup and nice clothes and always wear heels and lipgloss. I am actually very down to earth and love a lot of rock and indie music but that isn't reflected in the way i look.
I don't mind that much, I like to think there is more to people than their appearances. People are surprised when i tell them that i've seen heavy metal bands in concert and have a tattoo, which i like!
