The forking of a forked thread in action!
This could go on indefinitely though which will be very confusing! Although I notice that you can change the title of the thread to give it a title relevant to the 'fork'.

this is stoopid... bring back TCR!!!
Mulberry dilema!!!
NO.3. ask :
Mulberry dilema!!!
Dilema is:
My coconut Araline that I bought from ebay needed a slight repair on the strap. I sent it off to Mulberry and now they've written to say they can't repair it (which is rather puzzling as it's only a small repair) but they've offered me a store credit note for £300. The problem is, of course, that they no longer make coconut Aralines and the possibility of me finding one in any of the outlet stores is pretty remote.
What should I do? Take the £300 or just have my Araline back, unrepaired? Apart my from Balenciaga this is probably my favourite bag :boohoo:
I'm in a quandary :uzzle:
Answer:
Depends on how much you love it. But I'd probably investigate further with Mulberry to try to find out why they can't repair it. Maybe they could even recommend someone who can?
Is the damage likely to get worse and make the bag unusable? And is it noticeable when you're wearing/using it? Also, is there another Mulberry bag you think you could love as much as your coconut Araline.
Sorry, I've just landed you with a load more questions! I'm hoping they might help you think things through, though.
What a shame for this to happen to your favourite bag. :boohoo:
Answer:
Can't you have it back and the £300? I mean it IS broken?
You could get it fixed by somebody else and get a new one as well? :heyhey:
Answer:
It's come apart on the woven strap. TBH my dad could probably repair it for me. He's very handy with these kind of things but I sent it off to Mulberry thinking they'd do an expert job. If my dad repairs it, it could easily still be used and the frayed bit isn't even really visible. The bag has been very well loved and well used. Some of the leather looks worn but it's spotless and has obviously been really well looked after so it still looks really good.
Mitchey, I could ask I suppose. I'm not sure if they'd have it though :cmdunno:
I'm gutted :boohoo:
ETA: also I should have said, part of the reason I'm so attached to it is because it fits over the handles of the buggy. It's not that easy to find nice bags that do that!
Answer:
I'd definitely ask!
To be honest, with alot of bags, if its a bit won and battered it looks even better! :D

I didn't think so looking through her stuff  I was expecting head to toe designer gear in every outfit, but it's not at all.
I'm not too arsed with style diary, i've hardly ever looked at it and wouldn't know whose from whose. I was quite good on MVC until I had the baby, now I don't have much time on my hands :(

Whoa this is early!
Well as usual I'm doing very little but I am going out on Saturday evening! :faint: This is really the only thing of note that's likely to happen the entire weekend so I'll say what I'm wearing and doing. Going out with my bestie who's having a total beast at the moment and then we're meeting up with my husband and all his/our friends a bit later in a bar or club somewhere in rockin' Bristol :wasfield: Planning to wear cream and black silk butterfly minidress, black suede peeptoe platforms, either grey vintage leather clutch or black Chanel 2.55, wide cream bangle with lots of slim gold bangles and a boatload of St Tropez :D
Have lovely weekends everyone - I'll probably still be getting over my one night out on Monday morning! :o

that outfit sounds beautiful toosh..so simple and elegant.
Answer:
Oh no, I think there has been one on a tuesday, though that was on an easter week I think...
So, weekend. Definitely taking it easy and not drinking much at all... I seem to be having a sex and the city week (with no sex), as I was out at the cinema last night with my work crush, then have 2 other kind-of dates this week too...
Mine starts tomorrow with the MySpace summer party. It's all a surprise, surprise location, surprise bands, food etc, but should definitely be rocking. Theme is headgear/wigs, so I think I am going to try and find a sailor's hat and wear is with a white shirt dress, blue/white striped wide waist belt and red anchor necklace with red vintage ankle boots. I don't just want to wear a normal outfit then add a wig. Any other ideas very gratefully received as I don't actually have the sailor's hat as I lost mine at bestival last year.
Friday I have been invited to this party in islington where this guy I met in serbia is DJing. He was performing on the main stage - he dj's for radio 1, so that'll be the second year in a row at exit I have kissed a main stage performer... BAD lizzieB :o I think I will wear black sass and bide skinnies with vintage gold platforms ( :throb: these - they are so terry de havilland) and pale mint Moleta top with gold metal patterns around the neck and very low back.
Saturday day, I have been invited to watch arsenal by someone else I met in serbia - nothing happened with him but he is HOT, then going to go for drinks with him and his mates who are all lovely and really fun. I suspect the weather will be bad, in which case I will wear high waisted shorts, flat boots, opaques, baggy vest top, lots of chains and hope it does me day to night. If it looks remotely sunny, I am going to wear a dress, though I am bored with this charade of a summer now.
Sunday I seem to have double booked myself to both sunday lunch in battersea, and drinks in broadway market with 2 different groups of friends. It's planning like this that got me in hospital :o
Anyway, have a good weekend everyone!!!
And toosh, LOVE the sound of saturday's outfit!!!
Answer:
Enjoy your nights out Toosh and QofP!
Friday night I'm just going round to my sister to cheer her up, as she's just split up with her bloke, will just be wearing something wine and chocolate friendly.
Saturday night I'm working in the bar, thinking of cropped skinnies and green puffball top with brown wedges.
Sunday going to a BBQ at a friends house, it will be Mr M's first official engagement with this group of friends  . Bit nervous about it, but he has passed everything else with flying colours, so sure he'll be fine. Dying to tell him what to wear, but am resisting the urge :o , he only has a few dodgy tops, so should be okay ;) . Hopefully we'll get a sudden heatwave and I can wear my short shorts with a floaty kaftan shirt type top, which has orange and blue butterflies on it and wedges.
Have a great weekend everyone
