Beach Wedding and Footwear?
I am going to a wedding in Thailand and I am wondering what type of footwear to go for. I think nice danty heels would look best with the dress, but not very beach friendly! Should I just get the heels and wear them for the meal/reception, but take them off for the bit on the beach? or should I get some nice flip flops for that bit?

There are some pretty jewelled flip flops around at the moment - I'd be inclined to wear a pair of these rather than take two pairs, but that's just me, but you could wear these for the beach and then heels for the reception if you prefer, too:
If you've got any Indian clothes shops near you, you can pick a pair up quite cheaply!

Some wedges or gladiator sandals can be quite pretty too and more beach/sand friendly :)

hope you're all keeping well :) thanks so much for the pm's, I've only just seen them in the past couple of days and am just out the door in work at the minute so not getting time to bag :o Have tried to pm people back over the past couple of days and kept having to leave it :rolleyes: so apologies :o
I'm currently sporting a 4 month bump, buying lots of maternity clothes :o , out the door in work :rolleyes: , and in the middle of a house conversion :faint: So loads going on :lol: and my pc is currently sitting in storage til the builders leave so can't even come on in the evening to say hello! :cmeek:
I promise that as soon as I get up and running I'll post a pic of my scan, and little BabyO will wave to you all ;) :D I'd do it today only stupid work doesn't permit access to photobucket and I need to get my name off the scan first :rolleyes: :cool: General consensus is its a boy, which is worrying me slightly as given that he's going to spend a large amount of his life being brought around ladies fashion emporiums, it could result some serious emotional scarring for him in later life :cmeek: , but we're going to let it be a surprise so if a little lady does pop out she will be joining Tooshes little Amelie as the next generation of Fashion Baggers ;) Names are all picked out so just have to wait another 5 months now for the longest 'delivery' I've ever been waiting for on the bag! :faint: :lol:

Toosh, Mr O is planning on taking the first month off work, keeping a couple of weeks holidays from this year and then a couple from next year, so he'll have a whole month to get trained up on his nappy changing skills seeing as I'll (all things working as they're supposed to!) be doing the feeding :p I've perfected the helpless :cmdunno: 'pregnant lady face while hand on stomach' :D :D :D , so at the minute I'm enjoying being wrapped up in cotton wool by him and my family, and trying not to think about how I'm going to manage a baby AND me getting to work in the mornings next year :cmeek: :cmeek: :cmeek: :faint:

(plus I can't stand the queues)... :( Oh, well, maybe Gloucester will be a better bet when they've recovered from the flooding, else I suppose Cardiff is probably better for shopping, but it's twice as far away from me. :wave: I used to live in Hereford...and sadly it is not great! There used to be a Topshop (not a very big one), Principals, Accesorize, HM, a RI shop...the usual high street shops.... There is/was a boutique shop called Sorted and they had a few designer labels (in widemarsh st) Miss Sixty, S'nob..and I :cmdunno: am afraid there was not much more! The best best places would be Gloucester or Worcester?. Defo Cardiff is very good or even Cheltenham!;)

Thanks for the tips! DIdn't know Cheltenham was good for shopping, I thought it was a little nothing kinda place. I'll see where I can get in the near future... :)
