1 Attachment(s) Ok, I know it's dead on here so I'm not expecting much of a response, but for those of you that are here, I'm 5ft 2 - how's the maxi dress looking - keep it or take it back? I like it but am wondering how much wear I'll get out of it to be honest  If I kept it, however, I know it would probably need shortening a little.
Thanks for any of your thoughts!
Answer:
mmm im not hugely bowled over by it. Not sure i like the halter neck and think it would look better in a different colour but hey, what do i know?? if you like it, keep it!!
Answer:
I think it looks fab from the picture, in my humble opinion! :great:

I thought the opposite. When I clicked on the photo I thought 'WOW!'
I like the neckline, colour, overall shape and fit.
Would you wear heels or flatties?

Answer:
It's a lovely dress, but I personally think its a teeny bit too long on you.
Where did you get it from? Do they have a petite range version of this perhaps? Failing that maybe adjust the hem line so that it floats at ankle level maybe.
It's a shame about the length being that little bit too long as otherwise I think it looks great.
:)
Just my humble opinion.
Can I do the high waisted jeans thing ? pics !

completely O/T but annoyed and upset
NO.4. ask :
completely O/T but annoyed and upset
I'm sorry for the complete O/T but today it was my grandads funeral and I'm just so annoyed with myself. me and my cousin were reading a poem together at the church, she decided this morning she wanted to read the first verse as it was easier (and she is younger so I couldn't really argue, I was meant to be going first) so when the time came to read she went first, then it was my go, I knew it wasn't going to go fabulously as me and public speaking really don't go together, but I completely messed it up, I was really upset and really nervous at the same time and when I was reading I messed up one of the lines, I missed a line out and then went back and said the wrong word :boohoo::boohoo: I feel so incredibly guilty and as if I've let everyone down :( I just need to vent as everyones already told me I didn't mess it up but I really did :boohoo:
while I'm here I'd also like to say a big thank you to everyone who was really kind on my funeral wear thread, it really meant a lot :)
Answer:
Oh sweetie :higgies:
Even if you did slightly fluff a couple of lines that isn't the point. You still went to the effort of doing it when you are nervous about public speaking and with good heartfelt intentions - your grandad would have been proud of you for that :) I'm sure your family feel the same way.

I couldnt not reply.... What you did today was a wonderful, emotional thing, reading a poem when I'm sure you were feeling heartbroken.
I'm sure no-one thinks you've messed up at all.
Dont be hard on yourself you've had a tough time recently by the sounds of it :higgies:
Answer:
i think you are very brave, at my grandads funeral i would never have been able to get up and speak so i think it was great of you for doing it
so what if you made a few mistakes the fact you did it is the important thing
i am sure your grandad would be really proud
xx
Answer:
 you have nothing to be upset with yourself for Funky, I bet that your grandad knew better than anyone how nervous you were about doing the poem and he is just as proud as punch of you for doing it in the first place. If we all did everything perfectly the world would be a very boring and predictable place, and it was the little things that make you 'you' that both your grandad and your family love, and making a few mistakes in the poem today is part of you, so you've nothing to feel guilty about ;)
Which coat should I ebay?
NO.5. ask :
Which coat should I ebay?
Basically I just want some advice.
I have three winter coats and I want to ebay one which one should I ebay.
I have a cream fitted wool coat with fur collar knee length from Jane Norman.
A baby pink fitted wool coat knee length from Jane Norman.
A 3/4 length grey wool belted coat with big fur collar from Top Shop.
I like all three but the grey one I have not worn for about 3 years and I am put off by the big fur collar but I keep it in case grey is in fashion one winter and it does really suit me.
The pink one I did not wear last winter all all but its a nice shape and style.
The cream one I wear the most.
Answer:
Hi,
I would say keep the grey and cream, both versatile colours and the styles sound really nice. However, if you never wear the grey are you likely to start?

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
That's the thing I tried the grey one on this morning and it does look really nice so I am not 100% sure.
I suppose its because the last few years brown cream have been in more than grey.
