I'm a size 10/12 so I reckon thats pretty true to size :)
I always reckon its best to get them as tight as possible at first because after a few wears they loosen up. The 28 are best on me now.

I'm more of a lurker here, but you girls are all fab with your fashion knowledge, and I know you're honest, so I'm just looking for some opinions on this dress I bought today. Does it look OK on? It's really long and quite shapeless, so I don't feel it looks right on its own, but I'm really wary of waist belts, as I'm afraid they make me look really hippy, and I have quite big boobs too, so I'm unsure. In some ways I love it, but I need some reassurance. i'm going out on Saturday night with some friends I haven't seen since uni, so want to look good.
Next question, is what shoes? I'm leaning towards black, but I hate wearing black shoes, as I feel as if it looks as if no thought has been put into the outfit, but not sure what other colours would go? The dress is a really light beige IRL.
So, what do you think? Be honest, please. If it looks crap, tell me!:lol:

Not too sure about the shoes though, if you're wearing a black belt I'd go with black shoes too. Unless you want to go for metallic -silver might go well but I think gold would be better with your tan.

JellyJadie, the dress is from Miss Selfridge.
I only have one pair of gold heels, and they have an ankle strap, which will probably shorten my legs, so will try and get to the shops on Thursday, and search for the perfect pair.
