T-shirt Dresses?
Anyone seen any decent nice ones? Saw some in this week's Heat, admittedly on Gisele but I thought they were quite nice!!!
Don't recall seeing any in the shops recently though
Answer:
American Apparell ;)

Next have a cobalt blue one in the sale. It has a sort of silver ring hole detail (sorry, my powers of description have left me) on the shoulder and a slash neck. It's £10 in the sale.
The colour is nice and vivid - the only reason I didn't get it for my hols was that it was so short on me (in a 10) that it didn't pass the "raise your arms" test
If you're under 5ft 7 or planning to wear it with leggings, it should be fine though.
I would try HM too. They had some lovely jersey dresses last time I looked, but that was a couple of weeks ago.
Answer:
I actually got a nice black one from Dp's...they had them in black, blue red or white.
Answer:
I got a couple of All Saints ones from ASOS in the sale a while ago. They might still have them in their stores. This is not a very good pic of them, they've got a really nice bubble hem. If you're after something more fitted then American Apparel like Mitchey said.

Just spent 10 mins removing the shite off the bottom of one of my new pairs of Havs.
Why do people have to gob it out onto the street? As you were ladies :o

Plus size fashion

Plus size fashion
Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed by the lack of decent plus size clothing available on the high street?
I am a size 18/20 and I do sometimes find that shopping is a less than pleasant experience, when you are confined to the "plus size" areas that certain shops have created with limited ranges when surely they could make one item in a range of sizes. It is especially awful when someone wanders into the area by mistake and says rather loudly "Oh this is the fat section".
I appreciate that as a larger lady there are certain trends or outfits that wouldnt flatter me, but they may not flatter me even if was thinner.
When are the high street stores going to realise that as a population we are getting bigger and that there will always be huge mixture of shapes and sizes that need to be catered for.
I feel that no matter what dress size you are, you should have access to decent quality clothing, just because I'm bigger dosent mean I want to hide myself away in a big potato sack (yes HM I'm referring to your poor attempts at larger sized clothing which in no ways resembles anything you sell in a size 8-16).
So if you feel the same as me then please let me know that I'm not alone!!
Ok rant is now over!!
Answer:
Yeah me too, I've been looking for a really nice hoodie (a surf type one) but can't get anything like that over a size 14.
I do a lot of cycling/walking as well but trying to get activity type clothing in my size is a nightmare as well, they seem to think that if you are my size (16/18) you must lounge about on the sofa all day scoffing cakes.
I did manage to get a Pringle jacket in TK Maxx at the weekend though
Answer:
I agree that the choice in the UK is poor overall but I went shopping with my friend that is a size 18 here (spain) and there was nothing at all for anyone over a 12/14. In the major department store El Corte ingles they do have a range but the clothes were hideous patterned elasticated waisted shapeless monstrosities.
Answer:
Thanks for the replies at least I know its not just me!! With regard to hoodies, I have resorted to wearing mens versions, I got a Duffs hoodie in TK Maxx which fits really well and is quite a girly colour but you have to really search as a lot of them can be very long in the larger sizes!!
My other half has a field day in surf shops and I get really peed off as the girls stuff is tiny!!
Answer:
Yes, you are totally right. I am a size 16 and struggle with shops that go up to a size 16. They are either all sold out or they make the waist bigger but nothing else. It does my head in and does spoil shopping a lot for me.
Sorry... Office?

Just a quickie to say hello and thanks to Bibs and Dazz for helping out while I was away. I was in Africa for five and a half weeks with no access to internet and my phone didn't work - Bliss! On the downside (it wouldn't be a Puddy trip if nothing went wrong....)my luggage went missing on the way home. I had four or five connections in a row and it went awol somewhere there. So I have no underwear, or clothes or medicine.....
On the way there the Mulberry sale in Heathrow duty free was not fabby - too many Emmies on sale and as much as I tried to like them, they are too square for me. On the way back the Lola Rose at Collections was nice.
Did not buy much this time - a gold fob watch (always wanted one), a gold charm bracelet with heres on it, two diamond rings, some ethnic jewellery, a funky rubber watch, a leather bag, three cashmere tops and four silk cami's. Plus embroidered Yeti boots (like the brown pair with the circle of beads embroidered on it. Mine has bead embroidery up the shaft as well. Also got some handmade bead necklaces. Can't remember what else as I have no luggage to remind me! Puds
