Not fashion but need help!
I'm sorry,I thought Id get a quicker reply here.
I think I've had a reaction to some painkillers.
Ive fractured my tailbone which is verypainful and was given painkillers. I'm meant to take 2, 4 times a day. I took 2 last night before bed. It took about 5 mins before I couldn't keep my eyes open, and I had a really good sleep but it was weird, like I was awake but asleep if that makes sense. I was really comfy but felt like I couldn't move my limbs, but I could feel them there. When I got up, as soon as stood up I was dizzy, and kepthaving to run to the bathroom because I kept getting that vomiting feeling, but I had nothing to throw up. On my way to work my eyes went funny, like they were moving really quickly, darting from one place to another. And later in the morning I got a faint rash across my neck, chest, arms and legs.
Now 'm fine, but tailbone is killingem, but I' not sure whether to take some more?Has anyone had anything like this before? As far as I know I have no allergies.
Answer:
What tablets are they? If they are strong painkillers I would imagine maybe co-codamol?
They can have those side effects, they do on me too, when I have had to take them previously, I take one instead of two.
Answer:
They're Tramadol hydrochloride 50mg.
Did your side effects die down after a while of taking them?
Answer:
Ah I have taken tramadol too and they have the same side effects. They did die down after a few days but I found the side effects much much worse if I took them on an empty stomach.
I have never had the rash though, it may be worth checking out the leaflet that came with the tablets for the side effects.
ETA:
link has some useful information but it does state that a rash is one of the more serious side effects and that if you get one, you are supposed to contact your GP immediately.
Answer:
Thanks a lot Just A Girl! The problem is my GP isn't available til next week, NHS Direct are useless I don't want to go to AE!

1 Attachment(s) What do you think about this shrug/bolero....

Bought it a few years agaon and LOVED it but not sure if its a bit passe now. what do you think?
    Answer:
I think its a bit fussy?
    Answer:
i know what you mean....i used to wear it with indigo jeans, gold sandals and a white vest but i still felt a bit bright! IFKWIM
    Answer:
IMHO it's too 'fussy' for normal wear.
I'd ebay it with 'bridesmaid' or 'prom' in the description- you'll probably get a buyer willing to pay more for it.
It's a true but yet sad fact that anything with 'wedding' attached to it is more expensive :(
    Answer:
I reckon you could still get away with it for certain occassions - as above prom or wedding or something. For everyday wear I think it might be a bit too eveningey - iykwim!

    NO.3. ask :
Credit Card Fraud and Pay Pal
Just thought I'd warn you (as I know a lot of us fashion girlies are ebayers!!) that if you get an email from Pay Pal saying "Unauthorized access to your PayPal account" please don't follow the link in the email (which I did).
I got home this evening to find my credit card statement with three transactions that definitely weren't mine! I've since called my credit card company who've cancelled the card and I've now got to fill in a claim form.
Althought I'm not 100% it's down to that email from "pay pal", I've got a gut feeling it is as coincidentally, today my dad received the same or similar kind of email, so I googled it and found out that it is a scam which brings me to the conclusion that it is down to that email as I always use secure online shopping sites. It looked to me to be 100% real, as it came from paypal.com and said I needed to verify my account within 72 hours or my account would be temporarily suspended. I normally ignore these kind of emails but on one occassion where I did, it turned out to actually be pay pal and they closed my account until I could provide them with ID - that's a whole different story, but hence why I trusted this email as it looked very real.
    Nightmare!! :boohoo:
    Answer:
Oh god that's awful  - thanks for the tip-off though, hope you've not got too much paperwork to fill in :(
    Answer:

I hope you get it sorted hun xxx :higgies:
    Answer:

    Birthday dress
    Hello all!
I've been on holiday for two weeks and in hospital for a few days, so I feel a bit out of the fashion loop! I need a dress for my birthday next Thursday, something special. Think we're going for drinks after work then on to a club, so something not too smutty for a bar, but reasonably short I suppose. I was thinking about getting those Topshop purple peep toe platforms that have just arrived, so maybe a dress to go with them?
My ex will most likely be there, so I'd like to look as lovely as possible!
Hope someone can help me :)
