Help finding Marc by MJ watch!

NO.1. Ask :
Help finding Marc by MJ watch!
I'm trying to find out if I can get anywhere on the internet or mail order that will deliver to the UK.

Any suggestions, anyone?

Thanks! :)
Answer:
I'm a little confused as the picture in your link shows a bronze strap but the description says black? Anyway, they have them on Neiman Marcus website. If you ring them they will post it to you!
Answer:
I spotted that - bit confusing. I'm actually after the bronze or silver, but not made up my mind yet.

Thanks for the tip - it's cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere, and with the exchange rate at the moment I don't even need to feel guilty buying it!
Answer:
I've ordered from Neiman Marcus a few times and have been charged customs each time. Budget for approximately £10 plus around 17.5% of the total cost.
OT How's your bronze Alana getting along? Is it wearing well? Has any of the bronzing come off?
Answer:
I did wonder if I'd get hit with the VAT - I've only ever been charged for it once before, but always factor it in, just in case.

My Alana is a right little star! It's been everywhere with me every day since I bought it, and although the bronzing is wearing off a little, it still looks fab. It's only really rubbing off around the buckle and the flap on the front pocket, so basically where I'm opening and closing it all the time. I'll take some pictures soon so you can see.

I think this is why I'm drawn to the bronze MJ watch - the colour seems to go with everything!

  • Wearing "best" clothes everyday?

    NO.2. ask :
    Wearing "best" clothes everyday?
I'm in the process of going through my old work wardrobe in preparation for the dreaded return to work :boohoo: I'm only doing 3 short days a week so there's no great drama but it got me thinking.
As most of us, I've got different sections in my wardrobe - casual, going out, "best", work etc but I've started thinking that maybe I should wear my nicer dresser "best" things to work because I just don't wear them otherwise. What's the point of having nice pieces and saving them for "best" if you never actually dress for "best"? :uzzle: I tend to live in really easy casual pieces these days and only occasionally dress up to go out in the evening.
Do you guys have split wardrobes and have things that you only wear to work? Or do you wear your "best" things for work as well to ensure you get good wear?
    Answer:
I work in an office and rarely go out these days.
I am the same as you have sections for casual, best and work.
What I tend to do is after a year or so I "demote" my "best" clothes to work clothes so I end up getting more wear out of them.
Obviously not my spangly sequin boob tube ;)
For instance, I bought the Warehouse spotty wrap dress last year and wore it to a wedding and once for a night out.
This year I wear it to work.
    Answer:
I definitely wear my nice stuff to work - not the very fragile or delicate things, obviously, but I do make a point of trying to get wear out of some of the nice things I have. Like you, I don't go out that much and it's daft to spend money on stuff and only wear it once or twice a year.
Plus wearing something really nice cheers me up (and I need that in my job atm!!).
    g_k
    Answer:
    I don't have best, I think it's a waste! :head:
With regards to seperate wardrobes, I have dresses that I buy particularly for work and I never wear my capri trousers out of work - not becuase I dont; like them they just feel "worky" now!" :p
I do however "cross over" a bit but not a great deal, mainly because I don't feel right wearing very short dresses for work and I don't think maxi dresses are right either plus we can't wear jeans (obviously).
My trick, when buying stuf for work, is "if I went out somewhere trendy straight from work would I be happy wearing this?" if the answer is no, then it doesn't get in.
    Answer:
I think you should wear your nicer stuff to work Toosh as you were saying that you tend to wear casual alot these days,at least then you'll get to dress up in the day.I wear a uniform at work so I dont have a work wardrobe as such, just tailored trousers and blouses for officy stuff I occasionally do and the occasional suit for court!
In my old job I did wear nice things to work but depending on what I was doing that day as it would get ruined sometimes,I always had fab shoes though!!:heyhey:
I live in jeans and if its really hot summer dresses,so I am going to try to buy the best jeans and tees and little vintage blouses from now on rather than buying clothes that dont fit my lifestyle!!

apart from that i am just in the house waiting on oh collecting me cos we are going to my parents house in a lovely little village and it is nice weather so i'm looking forward to it
i am deciding what to take with me cos we are going for some drinks tonight but it is a village pub so don't want to wear anything too dressy - am thinking dark skinnies and hm chloeish top, do you think this is ok?
    xx
    Answer:
Your outfit sounds fine to me
I'm about, trying to get some revision done today so will be in and out
    Answer:
thanks ps, good luck with the revision
glad you think outfit sounds ok, just weird about going home sometimes cos want to look good incase i bump into any of the school b**ches
    xx
    Answer:
That outfit sounds good BB. I'm still stuck inside getting over my 'op' and also my knee is still hurting from when I fell over a few weeks ago :( I've just ordered some jeans because I've decided that I should spend some of OH's small bonus that he got this month
I've started packing away some of my winter clothes. I'm hoping I won't be here next winter, but I guess I'd better keep them just in case the house doesn't sell by then. We've got another viewing tomorrow arvo so I'm tidying up a bit as well :chores1:
    Answer:
I have stinking cold thanks to selfish people who dragged themselves into work this week despite being riddled with colds to be heroes :boohoo: now I have it!
So I intend to bag, shop and eat copious amounts of nice food (Mr Moog is out gettting bagels and latkes as I type) Plus my bank statement shows my account to far healthier than expected so I'll be treating myself to a bag and some shoes methinks...;)
