Quick Q: any Cardiff baggers around please?

His Majesty and I are contemplating a trip to Cardiff today but he's having a hissy fit because aside from Zara Men there's nowhere for him to shop :rolleyes:
He likes Ralph Lauren, Boss, Stone Island, Armani and we don't know anywhere that sells that :cmdunno:

I'm seriously considering ordering a pair of James jeans in the style 'Tom', which is apparently straight leg - I'm not too keen on the whole parsnip effect as my thighs are a bit chunkier than I'd like, so I'd rather have straight leg than skinny. Boot cut just feels a bit wrong at the moment!
I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about them? Should I size up/down, are they flattering for those of us with womanly thighs/bums :heyhey: ... ? Websites are less than helpful as they just give the inch size - I'm guessing 29 would fit, but if they come up small, maybe it won't?? Agh.
I've tried the DP straight legs and they just look blah on me and are too short. Their skinnies look ok , i.e. good for skinnies, but I don't want the lower leg to be that narrow. Oasis have some nice washes, but they don't seem to have a straight leg, only 'narrow bootcut' (which is basically a bootcut! :rolleyes: ) and skinnies. FC UK had some straight legs that looked ok, but I can't find them online and the shop didn't have them in stock, and anyway I don't know anything about the fit of FC UK jeans either! So I'm a bit stumped atm! I don't want to spend the earth as they'll be covered in baby sick in no time at all (James 'Tom' are in the sale), but I do want something that looks cool (or hot, come to think of it! :D ). I now live in the back of beyond so can't swan into Selfridges/Liberty for a trying- on-sesh! (plus shopping with a pukey baby isn't good for the weak of nerves, esp in designer shops..! luckily, so far the only place she has actually puked is in Tesco's baby aisle, so not too bad, but I live in fear...).
Any other rec's v welcome. I'm 5'6", used to be size 10 (26 in 7FAMK, 28 in Levi's/Lee) but am currently a 12 due to baby-related reduced gym attendance (:mad: :mad: ), so things don't quite fit how I expect them to atm... I'm working on that bit, but in the meantime I want some new jeans! :lol:
