Black Dress??
Hi all! It's doing my head in. How hard can it be to find a plain black dress? It's got to be all black - although simple trimmings in black are ok. Knee lengthish. And not all shapeless!!! Something that's going to flatter my curves. I want it in a fairly simple fabric too.
My budget's about £35-£50 at the most.
Please help. There's none on Topshop or Dorothy Perkins.
I quite like these on Warehouse - what do you think?
Although the second one might be a bit too dressy...

I like the first one and was going to suggest Warehouse also Oasis are actually doing a little black dress range this Autumn although not sure if its in store yet.

I like both but I think the first one is more work wear. The second seems more versatile you can dress it up or down.

I usually buy plain T shirts from M and S for work but I'd like to find somewhere which sells good quality plain and patterned T shirts which are cut in a trendy way, preferably online as I don't have access to all the decent shops. I'm prepared to pay upto £50 for a top if it is decent.

I love these tees and the reviews are helpful, especially if you are buying online. I have however heard that their online service is crapola. :(

For basics, I like James Perse, Petit Bateau and Urban Outfitters. CC California are also a good bet if you're looking for a wide range of colours and longer line tops so that you can layer your tees.
I like the cut of Katharine Hamnett's new organic tees which you can buy from her , and I've had some nice pieces from Vanessa Bruno, Splendid and Velvet in the past.
My first port of call for pretty much all this is :) except for Petit Bateau, which I buy in London. If you want to buy from a UK site, there are small selections on , and , which is supposed to start stocking James Perse this season.
I don't have brand loyalty when it comes to graphic tees though; I just buy what catches my eye.

I got my results today, so now all I have to do is wait for my registration with the nursing and midwifery council, and then I can begin practicing as a staff nurse!!!
I have been offered a job and am just waiting for my criminal check and references to come back and hopefully when all that lot is all ready I should be able to begin working the beginning of October!!
I am so chuffed, I have wanted to be a nurse all my life and I am now!!!!
