The sandal is made of artifical leather and cork type base.
Does anyone know if there is such a dye that I could use to colour both the artificial leather and cork base to a different colour?

I recently posted a thread showing off some shoes I dyed:
The dye I used, made by Tarrago, can also be used on synthetic leather. I'm not sure about cork, but think if it worked on leather which is also porous it would work on cork too? You could test it on the sole first.
What colour are you thinking of dyeing them, out of interest?

I'd like to dye them ivory - basically, I have extremely narrow feet width ways and underneath my feet on the ball I have very little flesh so, I find wearing heeled shoes for over two hours unbearable (when doing lots of walking).
I find wedge type sandals like this extremely comfortable as there is like an extra cushion where the platform bit is under the ball of my foot.
I was hoping to buy something similar and dye it ivory to wear under my wedding dress :o
Do you think the cork (dark bit) would take ivory?
On second looks at the material of this sandal, it looks a bit pVC'y - do you think that would take the dye?
