Your weekends?!!
No weekend thread yet  :D
My plans have all been cancelled due to getting shingles  :ill: Least its sunny while im off. Even if I am wincing, itching and aching.
My plans were to see mr sb tomorrow when we have been together 2 years but he hasn't had chicken pox so I can't see him at all :( Gutted about this.
Sunday I was my friends plus one at a christening and was going to wear NL blue silk tea dress with blue suede peeptoe poste mistress platforms.
Will be stuck at home for the forseeable week ahead.. So tell all about your fun plans and outfits!
xx
Answer:
ooh hope you get better soon SB,I've never had chicken pox either so I'm terrified of catching it!!!
I'm up in Brum at the weekend, then off up North on Sunday evening,no idea what I m wearing-it doesnt matter too much as I'm staying at my M+D's and I am never organised enough to plan ahead!!!!
Answer:
I'm always amazed at how well planned some of you are :cmeek: I never know what I'm doing until the actual day, but usually involves a club of some sort, and hungover on sunday!
Answer:
Oh, SB, you poor thing :higgies: I haven't had chickenpox either. And still didn't catch it off the ex's nephew recently.
I've no idea what I'm doing this weekend, as per usual. I'm sure it will involve some drinking as a friend is up. I just wanted to say get well to you, SB.
Answer:
Oh no SB, hope you get better quickly!
Friday we're going tent shopping - as much as we love each other our tiny tent is just a bit *too* tiny  will probably spend the rest of the day blitzing my assignment so I can have a free weekend.
Saturday I have a party early afternoon then we're driving up to Whitby and crossing our fingers that there'll be space for us on a campsite. Will wear charcoal crops with white vest and my black deep v hoody in the evening, as well as a nice cosy wool blanket.
Sunday we'll probably potter around Whitby and Robin Hood's bay. Depending on weather I'll wear a vintage sundress and flat sandals, with a thin oatmeal Zara cardigan over if it's chilly.
Monday I should think we'll spend the morning visiting somewhere else in the area before driving back in the afternoon.
Not super glamorous, but I can't wait :D
Yoohoo, Mitchey!
NO.2. ask :
Yoohoo, Mitchey!
Please could I ask where you got your long thin gold chain from, I'm after something similar? Thanks! :)
Answer:
HM have them in for £3.99 (I think) and UO have a really nice one which is £24
Answer:
Ah, thanks caramel - is it this one from UO - although maybe it isn't 'cos this one is £16?:
Answer:
Nah that's not the one. The one I'm on about has detail to the cahin ..I can't explain it. It's not a plain thin gold chain. It has this effect to it that makes it different from the rest, very cute.
If it's in NY I'll get it there but I'm not paying £24 for it
Answer:
I have got that one! Which one do you mean? The one I'm wearing in my Capri pictures is £4.99 from HM!
Boots for autumn/winter
NO.3. ask :
Boots for autumn/winter
1 Attachment(s) Just wondering what boots are going to be coming out for autumn/winter? I have started having a look around and don't want to wear the same old stiletto heel I did last year as it was useless in any form of snow or ice (and I am in Scotland so that is common!)
These ones took my fancy but not sure if cowboy style is going to be around then? What do you think?
Answer:
there's the usual flat boots that come up to about mid-calf or knee-length
and maybe ones with zips/studs on, since there's a lot of that coming in
a bit of biker chic
fairly chunky, some platforms I expect
(this is from looking through the vogue catwalk report on shoes/boots etc btw)
some ads for Kurt Geiger look pretty promising, although there's nothing on the site that I find particularly amazing
Topshop's usually a good bet for boots, there's some nice brown ones in atm
I saw some the other day that were sock-boots iyswim, might've been in Nine West.. thick black fabric up to the knee with the foot being leather, not really my thing but it's an interesting change from the usual sort
Answer:
Here are a few I like (form Saks)
Jimmy Choo (I love you)
Love these killer croc ones from Zanotti
As for more UK high street I would go for a pointy boot with a heel with a nice trim in fur / faux fur. Kurt Geiger usually is good for boots I agree.
A nice slouchy black here..?!

A nice slouchy black here..?!
Anyone find one online for me?
I have one at the moment, one strap, medium sized 'shove it all in' type here and they stitchings going on it...
I can't seem to find another one! I don't want it to be huge but big enough to carry all my usual crap!
Budget of less than £50 please!

Answer:
Can't recommend anything in particular but I've seen that Oasis, Topshop miss selfridge are usually good for this kind of thing... perhaps try them.
Answer:
River Island?
Answer:
I have an All Saints one similar to , could be a bargain if you don't mind it not being brand new...
Answer:
Just as an alternative, if your bag is still in pretty good nick apart from the stitching, then a cobbler should be able to fix it for you.
suit jackets...yay or nay?
NO.5. ask :
suit jackets...yay or nay?
hi im looking to buy a suit for someone and was wondering what was the latest style...i was thinking maybe the one-buttoned slim fit...what do u think? any suggestions??
thanks ;)
Answer:
To me a suit is a classic piece, theres no latest style. I would stick to a good quality fitted single breasted.
