La Redoute free gifts
Has anyone recieved anything from them mentioning plate and/or a green bag set as freebies? I ordered with them last week and I've got my stuff but I recieved an email this morning telling me that my green bag set and s/where plates are about to be despatched. I've no idea what they are so I'm guessing they're some kind of free gifts for my last order.
Cheers me dears!
Answer:
I had a leaflet yesterday with the green bag set, looks quite nice, I think I got a red set from them last year and they are handy for weekends away etc.

What Do you think You'll be Wearing in Autumn?

What Do you think You'll be Wearing in Autumn?
I think I'll be sticking to jeans and jumpers, but adding more accessories and with patent stack heeled boots and a cute swing jacket and or my trench. :)
I'm also going to be wearing different colours; Violet, fuschia, forest green, navy and plum and burnt orange (not all at once!) with black and chocolate brown.
Also, I am going to wear skirts more! Getting bored of jeans!!
Over to you!:D
Answer:
I can't see it being anything much different from what I was wearing last year to be honest. I went to a preview of the Arcadia group's new season the other week and it wasn't anything dramatically different from what was in the shops last year (although Topshop and Miss Selfridges do have some lovely things coming in).
So I imagine I'll be wearing lots of grey (I've become addicted to buying grey dresses from HM) and plum/purple shades.
I've been re-discovering my summer skirts recently so would quite like some autumn/winter skirts too to make a change from dresses and jeans.

Fuschia ;) my influence is everywhere
I'm going to be wearing more dresses I struggle to buy dresses because I can be a size 12 on bottom and I'm an eight on top but I'm going to do my best to find some..I've seen a couple of nice woolly ones in Primarni which will look great with thick black tights and boots and also seen a nice one in Warehouse. I need a new smart jacket too and am coveting a pink one in next at the minute although I'm going to wait and see what the other shops turn up before plumping for that one. Also will be stocking up on boots I've already bought some uggalikes and after rediscovering platform heeled shoes I'll be looking for some boots that are similar..probably get a really decent pair and some cheapies too. Also NEWSFLASH I am thinking of introducing white into my wardrobe a bit more, I have white shirts for work and I bought a white gypsy style smock top which I love this year so am thinking I will invest in perhaps a white fine knit jumper or even a winter white dress.
That being said lets just enjoy the summer first :D
Answer:
Hopefully i'll be rocking cowboy boots with dresses and polo necks under.
I might get a pair of super cheap ugg-alikes, for skinnies.
I need a new winter coat but i'm not sure what i'm looking for to be honest
Answer:
Fairly similar to last year really....
Dresses, opaques and boots
Skinnies, shoes/boots teamed with knitwear with a twist or top and longline cardi.
Need a new pair of uggs and have some black nomads i got in the sale and then would love a cute jacket, perhaps the French connection one i like.
Colour and pattern wise probably mostly the norm for me - grey/black/purple with florally dresses. Going to try and wear my indigo jeans more as they can get neglected in winter.
I basically try and stick to that and add a bit of what catches my eye too.
ETA: Opss forgot i want to try short shorts with opaques and boots this year too. Will probably look crap on me but i NEED to try it!

looking for a nice leather across body here
NO.5. ask :
looking for a nice leather across body here
I've come to realise I must have an across-the-body here as juggling baby, pushchair, assorted baby gear etc just isn't compatible with a shoulder bag atm. :girlbaby: I've got some really nice leather shoulder bags, but I find I don't use them much as they keep falling off my shoulder.
I'm looking for a smallish bag, just to keep my wallet, mobile, keys, little things like that in - I'll keep the baby gear in a messenger bag clipped to the pushchair, so don't need a big bag for my own stuff. Any ideas? It must be leather, budget up to 70 GBP. There's no TKMaxx near me, btw. Any suggestions welcome, online or IRL shop!
Answer:
Radley do nice ones...I'm a big fan of Radley bags...they also do a part fabric part leather one if you're a bit concerned about it being beaten up.
Answer:
Autograph at MS have chocolate and black accross body bags (£40)
Debenhams have smaller ones for £25/30 i think
Answer:
Thanks, will have a look at those. Sorry, not keen on Radley though, and not worried about it getting beaten up, it has to be leather!
More suggestions welcome! :)
Answer:
I'm not sure how small you want it but Topshop have this lovely grey one in, it's quite reasonable too:
I've seen it in brown IRL too - ETA it's on the site too, and in pink too if that appeals.
I thought this might be quite useful as it has lots of carrying options, cross body but also grab and possibly shoulder:
