If you had to choose one pair...
...of shorts ie between the two pictured, which would it be? Or do they both look crap?!?
Have just slung any old vest top on so you can see the shape of the shorts, but I'll probably end up wearing them with slightly longer line tops. I really need help deciding, just can't make my mind up (for a change)! The grey ones look darker in the pic than IRL - here's a link to them from ASOS:
Will mainly wear them on hols, or lazy summer days... Thanks ladies! :)
Answer:
definantly the second pair, grey ones :D
Answer:
Love those French Connection ones! The denim ones are fine, too. You can never have too many of them! :)
Answer:

Answer:
i like both , but if i had to pick one id say the 2nd pair
Long Distance Relationships
NO.2. ask :
Long Distance Relationships
What do you think about having a long distance relationship with someone? If you quite like someone and you've never met anybody who you really clicked with in real life - is it worth letting him know and trying it out or should you just forget it, continue going out and move on, find someone within your reach? It's not practical having a relationship when both of you are from a completely different country...
I guess I'm just looking for closure so, opinions welcome.
Answer:
It's hard to tell what you're looking for here - do you want success stories or disasters to make you feel better? :cmdunno:
I'd say anything can work if both parties want it to - have you met him or is this an online thing?
Answer:
I met my OH online and he lived 660+ miles away in Scotland, whereas I'm on the South Coast.
We've now been living together for a year and are getting married in 2009.
Yes, it can work - if both parties are prepared to put the effort and commitment into making it work. It takes good communication, good self control (no raging jealousies over nothing), honesty and trust.
Answer:
I haven't done anything yet. I met a guy online and we talk on webcam quite a lot. Basically, throughout these last few months, I've kinda fallen for him. But I haven't told him anything yet.
I was thinking that the next time I see him online, I'll tell him that I like him but this long distance issue is too much of a burden. So I should move on and not talk to him anymore. :(
I don't really want to tell him this. I mean I like him quite a lot and I think he's a really great guy. I think he might like me too. But having a long distance relationship would cause a lot of these little irrelevant problems that real life rellies don't have. I would definitely have to meet him in person first. And it* can't wait. I guess I have to tell him that we should stop speaking for my own good. :boohoo: Psychologically, it's not healthy.
EDIT: it*
Answer:
bright-eyes tbh you really have to meet someone irl to get the feel of them and only then can you decide if a ldr will work or not for you, you never know he could be the man of your dreams and then milage doesn't come into it!!! i have met loads of men on-line and they SEEM great lovely people then meet irl and they have the personality of slugs :(

Answer:
They were on there a couple of weeks ago as I had seen them. They are gorgeous shoes but I'm afraid they are too high and expensive for me.

Ok thank you, I will keep checking the website to see if they come back on! :D
Answer:
Yeah, they were on the site a couple of weeks ago. They are gorge :faint: I really want a pair.
They have a pair on there at the minute but they are in silver - and I'm not keen on the silver. Keep an eye on the TS site and hopefully they'll get some more in soon.

Answer:
Nothing particularly useful to add but I've been wearing flip flops for years without the need for anything like this... I find them just an acquired wear... I would say these would be more difficult to getting used to rather than going without them.
Answer:
I saw some flip flop plasters in Superdrug the other day if anyone is interested
