Having a Mary Portas moment...
...because I have fallen in lust with this over-sized ring.
I had a significant birthday a couple of months back and decided I would treat myself to a piece of jewellery to commemorate/celebrate.
Any opinions?
Thanks

Answer:
nice shape like the gold, expensive, but if you love it, go for it
Answer:
I think it's gorgeous; if you've got the style and general 'tude to pull it off, definitely go for it.
Also, I'd say you'd need quite strong but elegant hands to successfully carry off something that statementy. If you've got delicate or petite fingers it could look overwhelming.

Answer:
Ooh, I really like that and I am not usually a ring person. I think it's definitely something you'd treasure and make use of for years to come, so if it's within your budget then I say go for it!
Answer:
So, it's 100% unanimous, with not one negative comment.

My engagement ring is a pink diamond but I never wanted anymore diamonds to be honest..I'd feel a bit bling tastic..:cmdunno: also I'm quite small and a lot of jewellery can make me look like I'm playing dress up.

I love sparklies, but unfortunatly I have very expensive taste in stones so I`m still working on tracking down the right career (princess, dictator of the world) or a suitable billionaire to pay for them. The occasional trip to Bond St to fondle and ogal does help ease the pain.

Dover Street Market, W1
Harvey Nicholls, 67 Brompton Road
In case you don't know, the website is
There are some for sale on the website, but not the one you've mentioned.
It would probably be fairly easy to get someone to print a very similar t-shirt though, if you don't mind not having an authentic one.

Answer:
Yes ! Buy them!.... Wish I could afford them!
Answer:
I love the platform sole on the first pair, but I veer towards the Mius purely because they are leather as opposed to suede and will last better. :wasfield:
Answer:
:faint: 2nd pair.....only £85 more....and they are really lovely and worth it....the 1st pair are gorgeous but suede and they will get wreaked....where as leather will just get better with time.....:faint: 2nd pair!!!

Oh I love the second pair ...wow:bow:
Help me find a parka type coat!

Help me find a parka type coat!
I need a parka style coat, needs to be lightweight yet warm and a bit waterproof (or at least stop me getting totally drenched). I've had a search and can't find anything yet I've seen lots of people with them :cmdunno:
Any ideas?
Thank you :D
Answer:
There's this quite in the TS sale and a few in the section but they're either metallic or silk so probably not really what you're looking for. I got one from French Connection last winter, a lot of shops won't have their full range of winter coats yet so you might just have to wait a while...
Answer:
I really like the style of this one, as I don't like the parka shape that much, but it has a hood:
It says it's cotton though, so might not be very waterproof.
Answer:
I must blind when I looke don TS last week couldn't see a thing but I quite like this one
what do you think? £55 isn't too bad....I like FC ones but they are a bit too pricey for me, if Im gonna spend £100+ I want a 'proper' lasting coat IYSWIM
Answer:
That one looks nice but does it have a hood? My FC one cost about £120 but should last a long time so I didn't mind paying a bit more, it's quite thick too so can be worn all through Winter...
